Hate to say anything bad about the TV SERIES but it sucked from episode 1!!!!!
I watched Lost with my Lost-addicted girlfriend.
What a freeking snore-fest!
Last episode of 24 should be good based on the teasers.
It was a well-conceived and delivered ending. I suspected they were all dead at that the island was purgatory, and I am not sure I have that right, but the ending was very satisfying to me. I will miss it like no other TV show.
Lost ended tonight, and with it the hopes and dreams of millions of people who thought it might finally get good again.
Um, if it was one of the best things on TV why were millions of people hoping and dreaming that it might finally get good again?
Count me as one of those who gave up somewhere around the beginning of season 2. I just got sick of more garbage being layered on with NO answers to any of the goofy crap that was happening.
Heck, I was embarrassed I had been sucked into this huge shaggy dog story for that long!
There is nothing worse than those broken piano chords that are on EVERY show now.
.
.
.No, the chords aren't played on a broken piano. It means the chords are broken up, playing one or two tones, then the rest of the chord is added.
And I guess there is something worse. If Kenny G did the soundtrack.
I think I could come up with a soundtrack for Elizabeth Mitchell...
First 2 hours, 20 minutes were excellent. I don’t know WTF the last 10 minutes were about.
But if it was about what I suspect it may have been about— the it’s completely pointless and WHY DID THEY DEVOTE HALF OF THE FINAL SEASON TO IT???
Spoiler: Lost = Limbo.
Six years for the annoying yuppies to figure out they were dead and in freeking limbo.
Nice photo of Elizabeth. She has a great gig on V going for now.
Turns out the creators did have the ending all along, but most likely their story should have ended a year ago.
Tonight’s episode was lovely and a fitting finale to a splendid show. Everything happened. Nothing was a dream. And time is relative, especially time in heaven.
Amen.
2. It represented life. Ups, downs, statics, dynamics and never wrapped up with a big red bow. "Closure" is the Oprahfication of America.
3. It was a TV show.
I bet no one swallowed a SIM card.
I missed it, what happened?
I enjoyed watching Lost and I am glad it is over.
So disappointed, they wimped out 100%.
Why wasn’t Walt and Michael at the church?
I watched some of the first season of “Lost”.
I thought Locke and the guy that had killed the fast-food stand guy
in Australia had compelling stories.
As well as the doctor that had busted his dad for practicing
medicine “under the influence”.
But I lost track due to work and a few years later, I’m hearing that
the show was basically also doing “time travel”. If that was true,
I’m glad I didn’t spend much time on the show.
To me the church reunion scene seemed more like the actors saying goodbye to each other as they realized how they lucked into such a goldmine of a series. I didn’t see the characters at all, it was just like a good bye between actors after the final curtain call.....
Still disappointed.
Some people are just too addicted to a wrap it up ending, they want all the answers handed to them. They need to think for themselves, decide what THEY think it was, and run with it. Be more than just a passive experiencer and turn on their brains.
