Not long ago, I asked someone, anyone, to take control of Bill Brady's gubernatorial campaign. It looks like my wish is fulfilled because Senator Brady has hired a new press secretary, and one with some major experience at that.
The new media boss for Brady is one Patty Schuh, who has worked for the Illinois GOP for 25 years. Schuh started with the state party in 1985 and was until this month the press secretary and assistant to Senate GOP Leader Christine Radogno. Schuh also worked for James "Pate" Philip when he was president and minority leader of the Illinois Senate...

The sad thing is, Governor Quinn is a milquetoast, and a weak one at that. He’s a reformer who sold his soul and should be easy pickings. Even sadder, Brady is a rich kid who inherited his father’s failing company and, because of the economy, didn’t really do anything with it. Brady’s sins appears to be he used legal loopholes to avoid paying taxes and honoring contracts he agreed to. He’s a crappy candidate who the press are going after just to be fair. If he only showed a modicum of wit and intelligence, he might actually win. Unfortunately, he doesn’t seem to have any fire in him. Count this loser out.
Bill Brady is the GOP Candidate for IL Governor. Get over it.
Yep, and he’s a less than stellar candidate. This should be a GOP pickup and, the way it look right now, it won’t be. The great thing about this forum is anybody, including me, can voice his opinion. If you don’t agree with that principal, perhaps you might be more comfortable in a different camp.
*IL Politics Ping*
All of the internal polls in the Brady camp has Brady ahead of his opponant.
I am thankful that Illilnois finally has a pro-family, pro-life, pro-business gubernatorial candidate.
He’s a downstater. He could be Barney Fife AFAIC and he’ll still be better than any Chicagolander.
Brady has been running a lot of ads up here in Chicago, I think they are effective.
Also I track Rasmussen and they have Brady up by 8 points I believe.
People know that Pat Quinn is a loser, and I doubt the blacks and mexicans will be out voting in November since 0 isn't on the ticket.
In 2006, Obama wasn’t on the ticket, and many Blacks and Hispanics voted, helping Blagojovich win. He got 49%, and Rich Whitney, of the Green Party got 11%.
Let me guess, you were an Adam supporter?
BTW I don’t know where you’re getting your info from but Brady has been leading all the polls.
Who said he wasn’t leading? Leading (this far out) and having a crap campaign are not mutually exclusive!
Krankor seemed to imply as much in post 2. He was whom my post was directed at.
