This ad ran in the Arizona Republic. Doesnt seem to welcoming, does it?
In the comments section there is a 1-800 phone number from someone at the Mexican tourism board. If you call that number, they will tell you its a mistake. Somehow, I just dont believe that. I'll let you be the judge.

You could have added a little more information such as what the ad said.- not everyone likes to follow links without knowing why.
The Arizona Republic publisher and wife were the only Arizonans (I believe) invited to the dinner held for Mexican President. It is a perfect indication, and a Democrat requirement, of where that newspaper stands on illegal immigration.
MUST SEE video paid for by Arizona’s Governor, Jan Brewer.
This woman must be considered a viable part of the
Republican Party in future years.

It appears to be a magazine one-page ad showing a Mexican soldier looking through binoculars. In English it says, “In Sonora we are looking for people from Arizona.”
It’s a childish hit back at Arizona. Probably in the entire history of the State of Arizona not one American has attempted to illegally immigrate to Mexico. Perhaps they want the “free” medical treatment? When I was in Mexicali I asked what the mob of people was in front of a big building. It was Mexicali’s hospital. I was told that mob was there 24/7 waiting to get in for treatment. During the summer when temperatures hit 120 I was told the hospital sent a crew out every hour to collect those who had died while waiting.
There are two levels of “free” care in Mexico. Public employees had a new modern facility with no waiting. The problem is their technology is circa 1950. They didn’t do any arthroscopic operations. Back and neck operations that here are done as day surgery with incredible results are nightmarish multi-year recovery operations there with poor results.
Yeah, let’s sneak into Mexico and get on welfare make them all learn English.
thanks
Thanks....that’s good to know.
In fact, I'd give my tourist dollars to Robert Mugabe in Zimbabwe before I would give them to Mexico. :)
The ad appeared again, today, in the Travel section of the Rag. There are now images of partying, bathing-suit attired young people-all of whom are white-inserted as the reflections in the binoculars. There is added text in the lower right hand corner that reads “Who want to have a great time”. There is a map inserted into the lower left corner outlining the states of Arizona and Sonora, Mexico.
