Obama: "We don't Need No Stinking Border Security Laws"

Faithfully executing the laws is for little people.

The fact that the Obama administration does not give a s**t about border security, but it does like to squander money with glorious abandon is seen in three vignettes.

The first is their plan to spend seven millions of dollars upsizing and aggrandizing a Canadian border crossing, located in the middle of a Vermont farm, that accommodates 2 ½ cars per hour. They are so determined to do this that they have threatened to condemn roughly five acres of a dairy farm because the family that owns the farm does not want to sell. Claiming that this must be done for urgent national security reasons, "Our airports, seaports, and land ports of entry are all part of an interconnected security network to facilitate entry and exit to and from our country," the agency said in a statement Tuesday. "When we fail to fortify one, we weaken the entire system, putting our national security at risk." Meanwhile, in another part of the country, people in remote parts of the Southwest lie awake at night listening to the sounds of Illegal aliens crossing their land.

Says Mark Steyn: They lie awake at night frightened for their children and listening for footsteps in the yard. In effect, the sovereignty of the United States of America no longer applies in this territory - and John Morton and the Department of Homeland Security are entirely cool with that.

I really believe that there is an unwritten treaty stating that we will not enforce immigration laws. Listen to Calderone's speech again, see if you can draw any other conclusion. This is why they are so pissed off at Arizona.

I'd love to believe "W" wasn't complicit in this but that is really hard for me to do right now.

The system is very flawed. You have to show a birth certificate, social security card and proof of citizenship for Obama to shake your hand if you are a high school senior but all other than the elite must fend for themselves. The system is ready to explode.

The thing no one is talking about is Arizona takes over half of the illegals from the south border. They are trying to cope and deal with a security problem in their home. Most other states (except CA, TX and NM) doing have to worry about this as much. It is not only undoc Mexican farm workers seeking a better life. It is Al Qaeda, drug runners, and any other evildoer you can imagine. The coast is clear. Come one come all.

And these people running the country call it racist. OMG!

I just phoned into a program out of Jacksonville. It seems to be run by staunch conservatives but when I said that I suspect an unwritten treaty deal with Mexico I had the feeling I was making them uncomfortable.

They go on and on about how wonderful migration is and how they wouldn't want to separate families, and all the other touchy feely stuff to placate the masses and the program ends up being nothing more than a place for people to vent!

People have got to stop being afraid of this issue, "conservative leaders" and conservatives in a position of influence in particular. They want to bake a cake, but they don't want to break eggs! There are other talk radio shows like this one, they are vents, people spout off and feel good about doing something, but nothing is gained.

If I hear "we can't just send them all back" one more damned time I may lose it!

I've noticed a common factor in these programs, many of them seem to be more fiscally conservative than socially conservative. I'll say it again, I'm all for prosperous business but we cannot continue to trade bedrock American principles for a sound bottom line.

We've got to do the talking ourselves, everyone needs to have a personal list to share information on. everyone needs to get active on the United Tea Parties sites, local and national. There are a couple of sites here which would die if it wasn't for 2 or 3 of us posting. I don't doubt that this situation is common, people go to a rally, pat themselves on the back, and go back into hibernation.

Our enemies are working 7 days a week, 3 shifts a day to destroy us while too many of us are part timers.
