The Birther Chronicles Part Two: “Why ‘Birther Nation’ Matters”
(HONOLULU)(May 22, 2010) In Part One of the Birther Chronicles (see below) we explored why “Birther Nation” is becoming even more influential than the “Tea Party” movement across the United States. Today we discuss why “Birther Nation” matters and why Hawai’i officials are only fanning the fires of suspicion when they try to suppress access to Barack Obama’s original, typewritten 1961 birth certificate.
As usual, the mainstream media MSMs are acting as megaphones for the “Obama Smear and Disinformation Machine Although the New York Times has never done any original research in Hawai’i, they sent a parrot to Governor Linda Lingle’s office to broadcast Lingle’s assault on Birthers. Michael Cooper’s report began by calling Birthers “conspiracy theorists…a headache and a waste of time��

So why has Obama, why has his Hawaiian stooge Lingle, why have the MSMs failed to defeat Birther Nation? Because Birthers have become a de facto political movement that is driving a national debate about Barack Obama’s fitness to serve as president. Birther Nation has become a proxy political operation for expressing a lack of confidence and faith in Obama himself. How can you “trust” a “president” who has no birthplace marked in his “place of birth Honolulu? (Yes, that’s true, there is no “birthplace of Barack Obama” in Honolulu, no plaque to honor where “The President” ostensibly entered the world. Queer.)
Here are the reasons why Birthers matter and why the power of Birther Nation continues to grow.
First, Birther Nation is big, “really big Approximately 150 million Americans harbor some form of doubt about Barack Obama’s origins and beliefs. While these persons are predominantly Republicans, polls show there are also tens of millions of Democrats who have come to question just where Obama entered the world and what he really believes.
Second, Birther nation is growing. Every attempt to stamp out questions about Obama’s origins, every piece of MSM propaganda, has only increased public doubts, not satisfied them.
Third, Birther Nation is pervasive. It is a national movement with adherents in almost every election precinct in America. The Tea Party movement is concentrated in some states, weak in others. Birther Nation has adherents across the United States.
Fourth, Birther Nation has shown incredible persistence. Obama realized my columns questioning his origins were costing him millions of votes in 2008; he attacked me and is still attacking. But Birther Nation continues to grow. Obama & Co. have tried every antidote but nothing stops Birther Nation from metastasizing`. Fifth, although Obama has been playing a “game” of legerdemain over his 1961 birth typewritten Honolulu certificate, he is clearly the loser in his own charade. Birther Nation’s doubts continue to drive national anti-Obama sentiment. While the issue of Obama’s missing birth certificate is not strictly speaking connected to his failed policies as a president, doubts about Obama’s origins have spilled over into hostility towards his agenda and administration. Barack Obama: the joke’s on you.
Sixth, Birther nation is amorphous. We Americans are obsessed with “headquarters During the Viet-Nam War, President Nixon became fixated with finding “COSVN” (the Central Office of South Viet-Nam). Something as durable and persistent as the Vietnamese insurgency had to have a main office, a post office address if you will. Nixon never found COSVN, and MSM’s have never found the “headquarters” of Birther Nation. The closest anyone has come is Rachel Maddow’s untrained puppy Christopher Hayes, who accused me of being the mastermind of a “vast right-wing conspiracy Of course, I confessed. Our secret office is in a bunker deep underneath Manhattan. Where else?

Seventh, Birther Nation is spontaneous. We don’t hold meetings. We don’t issue membership cards. There are no dues. The closest we come to any organizational structure is www.ContrarianCommentary.com and our related blogs (see below). That’s it. Obama has learned that it is almost impossible to fight an adversary you can’t find. It’s not easy. That’s why he has failed to defeat Birther Nation, and why Birthers will eventually defeat Barack Obama .
Some people take umbrage at our claim that we are the “Internet Powerhouse But what other movement began with a single individual, and now has over 100 million adherents?
The Hard Left in America is in a state of apoplexy. George Soros has probably offered a reward for the capture of the “King of the Birthers Leftist storm troopers at “Media Matters (For Socialism” try to pin the “Birther” moniker on everything that opposes Obama. The latest attack is on “Birther-Palooza an upcoming Tea Party convention that has no direct connection to Birther Nation.
Primary results earlier this week showed a populist rebellion in progress. Why so strong? Because mainstream politicians and MSMs bow down to a man who won’t even tell us where he was born. Ultimately, Birther Nation is exposing Barack Obama’s own “birther” madness. People are losing faith in institutions that genuflect to a “president” that won’t release his original, typewritten 1961 birth certificate. Obama knows who he is, and who he isn’t. We don’t. Could any dilemma be more frustrating for the American people?
“Closeted” Obama acolyte Linda Lingle, the Hawai’i Governor, should have vetoed the “birther” law passed by the jokers in the Hawai’i legislature. She thought she was doing Obama a big favor by signing the statute. Lots of luck. (Lingle refused to meet with me in Honolulu.)
With adversaries like Lingle and Obama, how can Birther Nation lose? Or as Joe Biden would say, “Birther Nation is a “Big F’ing Deal
First, Birther Nation is big.
Second, Birther nation is growing.
Third, Birther Nation is pervasive.
Fourth, Birther Nation has shown incredible persistence.
Fifth, Obama is clearly the loser in his own charade.
Sixth, Birther nation is amorphous.
Seventh, Birther Nation is spontaneous.
Right now I am more curious about the talk that Obama’s SS# was issued in Connecticut in the late 1970s. I have no idea if that was verified or just a claim.
I don’t have a clue what the truth is, but I have a feeling the birther issue isn’t so much a diversion as it is a feint. I think there could be a different secret than birthplace that would be uncovered by proving the birth...what that could be though..who knows.
I sense a magicians trick...look over there while I hide something over here.
Birther Nation is really only a minor point in the Constitutionalist Tea Party agenda of counting the ways the US is heading off the tracks at full speed.

I have been a proud birther since before the 2008. I have never attended a meeting or paid dues. Actually,....This is the first that I have heard of Andy Martin.
But...I have sent dozens of typed ( snail mail) letters to all of congressmen at every level. Plenty of e-mails, too!
And...I have kept my relatives, friends, and neighbors informed.
On these message boards I, have seriously ragged on our WEENIE conservative media! Phonies! and Cowards! ( nearly all of them!) YES! THAT MEANS **YOU**, RUSH!
And...I pray that we will soon have a truly conservative media that will put the mainstream ( Marxist) media and the phony, cowardly, faux, “conservative” WEENIE media permanently OUT OF BUSINESS! ( YES! RUSH, THAT MEANS YOU!)

Do Democratic and Republican presidential candidates in 2012 have to provide their Social Security numbers when they apply to run in the party's primary?
If they do, then we should be allowed to look at Obama's first 3 Social Security digits to check where he originally applied for his Social Security number.
If Obama's first 3 digits point to Connecticut and not to Hawaii or California, where Obama attended Occidental College, then I say that Obama has a lot of explaining to do.

I wish a reporter would simply ask Press Secretary Gibbs during one of his daily briefings the following: What are the first 3 digits of Obama's Social Security number?
But better still, I wish a reporter would simply ask Obama himself this question: What are the first 3 digits of your Social Security number?
If either Gibbs or Obama refuses to give the first 3 digits of Obama's Social Security number to the reporter, then I say Obama is hiding something.

Gibbs first diminished Kinsolving by saying he would take a question from him “ Only because I’m a glutton for punishment .”
Kinsolving : “Thank you, thank you, very much.
Just one question concerning what the president said in his speech on Thursday, and I quote,
‘I ran for president promising transparency, and I meant what I said.
This is why, whenever possible, we will make information available to the American people
so they can make informed judgments and hold us accountable.’ End of quote. Do you remember that statement?”
Gibbs: “I can confirm that he said that.”
Kinsolving: “Good. In consideration of this very good promise of transparency, why can’t the president respond to the petition to requests of 400,000 American citizens
by releasing a certified copy of his long-form birth certificate listing hospital – (laughter) – 400,000. …”
Gibbs: “Are you looking for the President’s birth certificate?”
Kinsolving: “Yes.”
Gibbs: “It’s on the Internet, Lester.”
Kinsolving: “No, no, no — the long form listing his hospital and physician.” (Laughter.)
Gibbs: “Lester, this question in many ways continues to astound me.
The state of Hawaii provided a copy with the seal of the President’s birth.
I know there are apparently at least 400,000 people – (laughter) – that continue to doubt the existence of and the certification by the state of Hawaii of the president’s birth there,
but it’s on the Internet because we put it on the Internet for each of those 400,000 to download.
I certainly hope by the fourth year of our administration that we’ll have dealt with this burgeoning birth controversy.”
