Here is video of White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs refusing to answer a question as to whether Rep. Joe Sestak was offered a job by the Obama Administration in order to get him to drop his run for the U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania against Sen. Arlen Specter. Gibbs hemed and hawed, but would not really give an answer.

White House Accused of Federal Crime in Specter, Bennet Races

For the second time in five months, the Obama White House is being accused -- by Democrats -- of offering high ranking government jobs in return for political favors. What no one is reporting is that this is a violation of federal law that can lead to prison time, a fine or both, according to Title 18, Chapter 11, Section 211 of the United States Code.

The jobs in question? Secretary of the Navy and a position within the U.S. Agency for International Development.

The favor requested in return? Withdrawal from Senate challenges to two sitting United States Senators, both Democrats supported by President Obama. The Senators are Arlen Specter in Pennsylvania and Michael Bennet in Colorado.

I must be naive, but I don’t understand why they haven’t coordinated an acceptable story with Sestak yet. I thought Dems work together in the face of potential scandal.

What’s the most interesting to me is that the reporters were talking over themselves trying to get answers. Maybe, just maybe..they are waking up.

Sestak needs to be given this question too.

He’s the one who first made the revelation, not Gibbs.

There would seem to be only two possibilities here. Either Sestak has a very tenuous relationship with the truth and just made up the story out of whole cloth.

Or on the other hand, this is a major scandal in the White House.

Can Obama get Sestak to fall on his sword for him?

The moment “Baghdad-Bob” comments on this issue, he becomes an enabler of this bribery himself, and he knows it???

A short spelling lesson:

The last four letters in
“American” = I Can

The last four letters in
“Republican” = I Can

The last four letters in
“Democrats” = Rats

End of Lesson. Test to follow in November.

November will be set aside as ‘Rodent Extermination Month’

Gibbs all but said, “I refuse to answer on the grounds that the answer might tend to incriminate me.”

These guys are unbelievable! If an American had gone into a coma in the 1950’s and awakened today, he would be incredulous that the Commies had won, without firing a shot.
