Even Sarahs most ardent supporters sometimes tell us theres no way the media is going to let her win. Unfortunately some conservatives voters have the mindset this is true. Polls specifically written to Sarahs detriment are repeated constantly to create the impression she is terminally divisive not qualified or weak with independents. All those make for good headlines from liberal media sources but are virtually meaningless in the real word of politics.
The answer to that is simple. They are looking at state-by-state polling data and know theyve got a problem
a very big problem. Governor Palin has a built in advantage over Obama in the one place it counts most: The Electoral College. We are going to share a scenario here which will provide enthusiasm for 2012 and a can-do spirit for any Palin supporters who might still be sitting on the fence.

While there may be other ways for the GOP to win the 2012 Presidential Election, the only sure way is for the Republicans to nominate Sarah Palin in 2012.
Great! All we need now is one little pesky presidential election...
IMHO, I don’t think SP will run for president.
If she doesn’t, I’m backing DeMint-Ryan in 2010.
In addition, I think Palin could win WI, MN & MI. She is the only candidate that can draw the crowds and generate the interest to defeat the fascist-in-chief. There’s no doubt she would hold back from criticizing BO and his radical associates.
And conservative Tea Party favorite Chuck DeVore can beat Barbara Boxer in the California senate race, so why did Palin endorse RINO Carly Fiorina instead?
Dig deep enough and the trail always leads back to John McCain and his “moderate” agenda for the GOP.
I will support the most conservative (with a chance to beat Obama) candidate in the primaries.
I will vote for whomever wins the nomination.
We will not survive 8 years of Obama.
Wow! And I didn't even know there was an election. I certainly would have voted for her had I known! Wonder how I slept through all the hoopla. Can't wait for her to take office!
The Republican Party stood by and either passively or actively allowed it to happen.
What makes you think the Obama Regime, with the aid of Congress (on both sides of the aisle) and the willing, joyful participation of the state run media, will actually allow an election to take place in 2012?
If they can't destroy Palin (or whoever gets the GOP nomination) before October, they would gladly destroy America (or several cities, via nuke attacks) to declare martial law, a “Police State” and eventually, the end of the United States of America as we know it.
Geez. With a scenario like yours (e.g. cities being nuked), it makes little difference who the next Prez is.
I would work 24/7 for sarah, despite her flaws.
She and Bachmann and Brewer are the only ones with the guts to take on ZERO.
WOMEN LEAD THE WAY ON THIS!!!!!
North Carolina: Obama 2008 by 50% to 49%.
Indiana: Obama 2008 by 50% to 49%.
Virginia: Obama 2008 by 51% to 48%.
Ohio: Obama 2008 by 52% to 47%.
Florida: Obama 2008 by 53% to 46%.
Colorado: Obama 2008 by 54% to 45%.
Nevada: Obama 2008 by 55% to 43%.
For 2012, with the elderly much less favorable to Obama in 2010 than in 2008 when McCain carried them by a slight margin, unemployment far worse for the young than in 2008, several years of "establishment" failure under Obama's belt, and a huge enthusiasm gap between those who disapprove of Obama and those who still approve, Palin is quite likely to flip many of these states back to the GOP. The question is: will she carry Florida? She may flip others too (PA, NH, and MN come to mind), but if she carries FL, then it's almost certainly over for Obama's experiment with socialism.
McCain lost WI by 13% and MN by 16%. If Sarah carries those two states (which I’ll admit is plausible), then she’ll carry a substantial majority of the country.
But let's face it. with this nut case in the White House, even something as crazy as this doesn't quite seem out of the realm of possibility.
