As you well know, the meaning of the phrase “natural born citizen” was understood by numerous Supreme Courts and reflected in their writings.
It’s meaning has never been disputed throughout American history as reflected by the twenty plus unsuccessful efforts to try to change its meaning statutorily from what it is to what liberals want it to be.
In legal jargon that you are familiar with, it’s meaning is “understood” and has been “understood” by legal authorities for over 200 years and even by the liberal loons like Leahy in the Senate.
It’s not a definition of an undefined phrase that the liberal loons are after. It’s a “redefinition” that they are after — a redefinition of a Constitutional phrase with a long-standing traditional historically-understood meaning with documentary evidence to back it up:
