I was generally excited that Rand Paul won the Kentucky primary. He has been a strong anti-government libertarian voice.
But last night, on the Rachel Maddow show on MSNBC no less, he damaged himself tremendously.

How so? Please don’t tell us we have to visit your blog to find out.
He landed on Joy Behar last night. Not sure what he is doing other than just talking straight up! Not following the rules of anyone.
but since nobody watches that show...
When the dems start running Vid’s of paul and that anti-war piece of crap kokesh... he’s done....
Paul clearly is not a racist...but he could not just bring himself to be against segregated lunch counters, because he is a true bred libertarian. That is fine...but in politics, if you are pure ‘anything’, a smart reporter will find a way to burn you.
If you don’t want to go to my blog, feel free to go to MSNBC and look up the Rachel Maddow show from last night.
He could not have hurt himself, nobody watches those shows anyway
Thanks for the answer. No thanks on the MSNBC. I might have a look at your blog sometime but I’m off to work right now...
best thing about Rand Paul is he slapped the establishment.
We will see.
It’s precisely this sort of knee-jerk internecine sniping by our own, which CREATES Rinos.
Afraid of their own shadow.
Watching every word, lest they inadvertently, accidentally speak one true word. And offend the PC right.
I say you go Paul. Speak your mind.
Liking this guy already...
Two of the three gun shops that I've visited in my area (New Mexico) recently have Kokesh for Congress stuff. Didn't see anything from Mullins (I did a few weeks ago, but not now).
He’s been questioning the Afganistan war (direction, etc). Well, guess what? So’s the rest of us.
Look, I LIKE Rand Paul. I donated to him. I wanted him to win.
But this is Washington politics. In washington, liberal media matters. I don’t like, I doubt you like, but it is the real world.
Actually, I wanted to write-in Ron Paul; however my state (Fla), I learned, does not count write-in votes; and so, when RP suggested that, in such cases, we vote for Chuck Baldwin, I did so, and a fine choice I made.
From what I see of Rand Paul, he is enough like his father that I would likely vote for him!

“Smart reporter?” You’re joking.
Dr. Paul is a doctor, not a politician, and shouldn’t put himself out as a politician with the media. That doesn’t mean he can’t represent Kentucky!
Nobody with any sense cares anything about Rachel Maddow.
Kokesh is a TRAITOR.
