Sarah Palin Will Announce Her Candidacy On Feb 6th 2011 In Tampico, Illinois
Citizen Palin 4 President ^ | Michael J. Fahy

Sarah Palin will announce her candidacy for President in Tampico, Illinois (or maybe Dixon or Eureka) on February 6, 2011, Dutch Reagan's 100th birthday. That is not just my prediction/fantasy; others thought the same after her Wednesday address in Chicagoland's suburban Rosemont, where she unabashedly took charge of the then erupting Highland Park school debacle. Palin fired up the Chicago crowd, citing Ronald Reagan as a driving influence in her life and political career.

That was rather catty

That is rather sexist. I spent the entire "W" administration embarrassed that our president was incapable of intelligent communication. Sarah has the right thoughts, but she is not ready for prime time from a communication standpoint, just like W.

I would feel a lot better about Sarah Palin if she would stick her head in the lion’s mouth on a regular basis and do regular interviews with unfriendly reporters (in other words, any other network than Fox).

She’s going to have to do it sometime and get through the initial pain... even if it takes years to accomplish.

Unless she can accomplish that, I don’t think she can do it.

Sarah is definitely on my short list. Would also love to see another new, fresh face emerge.

No more Romney, Huck, Newt, recycled old politicians.

Breast Cancer. My best friend is battling breast cancer now.

My wife had breast cancer back in '96. She had chemo and lost her hair; but she always wore a wig in public until her hair grew back. I think it is a big mistake for women to go around bald or with a hat. People see them and immediately think "oh...she must have cancer.." Their reaction is like a reflection back to the woman of "you look like you are dying of cancer". People always told my wife she "looked great" and I think this helps the cancer patient to keep a positive attitude.

Also, with so many out-front lesbian/dyke types running around; the bald look makes some look "dykey" (like Carly).

Baloney. And, I’m a female, so it isn’t sexist.

Sarah is a great communicator. I’ve seen her personally and she proved as much at the RNC Nomination when her prompter went down. Don’t let the media inform your opinion. She’s folksy, but she’s right. We have a professor right now, semi-articulate if on prompter. We are due some honest, look you in the eye and articulate what you believe communication. Sarah has that. She’ll do fine.

Further, your embarassment of W says more about you than it does him. Not only is it a gross overstatement but betrays a hint of someone far more influenced by the media stereotypes (for both individuals) than she would probably care to admit.

She needs to announce Bachmann as VP on the spot. Run as a ticket immediately.

“Newt is laying some serious conservative groundwork.”

He had his day, but now he’s way too liberal — will lose the conservative vote.

Pro global warming.
Called Tea Parties “militant”.
Supported Dede Scozzafava (pro abortion, pro gay marriage, pro card check).
Arrogant Beltway elitist.
General adultery issues.
Specific issue abandoning critically ill wife.

His wife is more annoying than Michele Obama.

Thanks...I went to the "Conservatives"4Palin link...but lo and behold, what I found MOST of interest was this:

"Today we are privileged to have another guest submission by Kevin DuJan, Founder & Editor of HillBuzz.org. Kevin attended Governor Palin's speech last night in Chicago, as well as her speech a few weeks ago in Washington, IL. He and his team at HillBuzz worked for Hillary Clinton's presidential run, then started Democrats for McCain in Illinois and helped a Republican candidate for the first time ever in that race. He and the guys at HillBuzz lobbied hard for McCain to pick Governor Palin as his running mate in 2008, and are proud to be committed Palin supporters living and writing in Boystown in Chicago. It is their mission to teach Palin supporters all they can about the DNC and media efforts to attack Governor Palin, so what was done to Hillary in 2008 is not done to the Governor, using that same Alinsky playbook against a strong female candidate the Left intends to destroy. Kevin has been quite busy lately and is still planning on joining C4P as a regular contributor to do everything he can to help Governor Palin in her efforts to stand up for America."

Things that make you go hummmmm.

Romney should be off the radar screen entirely. He would be an even more liberal version of Bush II and would destroy any chances of reparing the damage done to America by Obama if he was elected.

Huckabee, Gingrich and Paqul should also be off the radar screens entirely. They are too old and/or too much a part of the past.

The GOP needs new, conservative, aggressive, intelligent leaders who can take us into the future by thinking outside the box and eliminating all the damage done by three Bush Administrations, two Clinton Administrations and (hopefully) one Obama nightmare.

I think people like DeMint, Cantor, Jindhal, Allen West, and Rubio can do just that. And there may be others lurking out there who can be considered along with Palin.

America is justifiably tired of the political insiders - the professional candidates whose only purpose in running for office is to get elected and enjoy a long term sinecure.
