These "frail racist white people" better beware of La Raza "forefront of the revolution," at least so says Mexican racist and hatemonger Ron Gochez. Ordinarily we would all just roll our eyes at yet another half-wit, violence pusher that wants to destroy the USA and everything it stands for. But Mr. Gochez is not just any prosaic left-wing hatemonger. He is a left-wing hatemonger that teaches history to American high schoolers in Los Angeles, California.

Three years ago, the racist Gochez celebrated the "revolutionary" group La Raza (which means "The Race," itself a direct racist exclamation) in a rally in L.A. He pushed violence and the overthrow of America and advocated an international socialist system...

It is ILLEGAL for California teachers to espouse sedition and Communism.

A Democrat tried to overturn this long existing law.

Thanks for the post. For decades now, beginning several decades ago, so-called "public" schools began to censor the Founding Principles underlying American liberty from the nation's textbooks and from the lessons taught in schools.

The following is excerpted from a series entitled, "Lessons on Liberty," by La Vaughn G. Lewis, Co-Editor, "Our Ageless Constitution" & "Rediscovering the Ideas of Liberty." The "Lesson" contrasts the Founders' Ideas of Liberty" which they insisted should be taught to rising generations, with the Counterfeit Ideas being promoted in the so-called "public schools" of America for decades.

IDEAS OF LIBERTY:

(As quoted from America’s Founders and Presidents)

“The God who gave us life gave us liberty at the same time; the hand of force may destroy, but cannot disjoin them.” (Jefferson - 1774)

“Statesmen may plan and speculate for Liberty, but it is Religion and Morality alone which can establish the principles upon which Freedom can securely stand.” (John Adams - 1775)

“The Sacred Rights of Mankind are not to be rummaged for among old parchments or musty records. They are written, as with a sunbeam, in the whole volume of human nature, by the Hand of the Divinity itself, and can never be erased or obscured by mortal power.” (Alexander Hamilton)

“Without God, there could be no American form of government, nor an American way of life. Recognition of the Supreme Being is the first and the most basic expression of Americanism. Thus the founding fathers saw it, and thus, with God’s help, it will continue to be.” (Dwight Eisenhower)

“The same revolutionary beliefs for which our forebears fought are still at issue around the globe, the belief that the rights of man come not from the generosity of the state but from the hand of God.” (John F. Kennedy - 1961 Inaugural)

“…it is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey his will, to be grateful for his benefits, and humbly implore His protection and favor….”(George Washington)

“Now the virtue which had been infused into the Constitution…and was to give it…the stability and duration to which it was destined, was no other than…those abstract principles…proclaimed in the Declaration of Independence—namely, the self-evident truths of the…unalienable rights of man…the…sovereignty of the people, always subordinate to a rule of right and wrong, and always responsible to the Supreme Ruler of the universe for the rightful exercise of that sovereign…power.” (John Quincy Adams, on the occasion of The Jubilee of the Constitution - 1839)

"Today, across our nation, we see consequences of decades of gross neglect and outright censorship of the Founders’ ideas from textbooks and from our public discourse. We have allowed counterfeit ideas to dominate the public square, and the Founders’ principles have been crowded out. Unwittingly, many teachers and other unknowing officials have participated in the agenda of an unelected mind-controlling elite whose tyrannical actions have robbed generations of Americans from reading or studying the ideas that made America free. Like termites, they have eroded our foundations as effectively as if they had burned the books. Yet, not once have they been willing to call it by its rightful name—censorship. Once, in America, stifling ideas about the Creator and Creator-endowed liberty was considered unthinkable. . . .

"The ideas of liberty must be passed on from generation to generation if liberty is to survive. These ideas, when they are allowed to be examined freely, will prevail, because their appeal is to reason and to the love for liberty that is deep in the human heart. John Adams warned: “The people of America now have the best opportunity and the greatest trust in their hands, that Providence ever committed to so small a number…if they betray their trust, their guilt will merit even greater punishment than other nations have suffered, and the indignation of Heaven.”

COUNTERFEIT IDEAS:

(from some of those whose views have dominated national educational policy)

“The idea of God is the keystone of a perverted society. The true root of liberty, equality and culture is atheism.” (Karl Marx)

Our thinking is enlightened “in the degree in which we cease to depend upon belief in the supernatural.” (John Dewey, father of ‘progressive education’ and 1st President of American Humanist Society)

“…democracy is a human faith and movement, unencumbered by supernatural preconceptions.” (John Childs, a protégé of John Dewey at Columbia)

“…the majority of our youth still hold the values of their parents, and if we do not alter this pattern, if we do not resocialize ourselves to accept change, our society may decay.” (John Goodlad, 1971 Report to President, Schooling for the Future)

“As in 1933, humanists still believe that traditional theism, especially a faith in the prayer-hearing God, who is assumed to love and care for persons, to hear and understand their prayers, and be able to do something about them, is an unproved and outmoded faith.” (Humanist Manifesto II, 1973)

“…the most important factor moving us toward a secular society has been the educational factor. Our schools may not teach Johnny to read properly, but the fact that Johnny is in school until he is sixteen tends to lead toward elimination of religious superstition.” (Paul Blanshard, The Humanist, March-April, 1976)

“It [the Nat’l. Education Association’s publication list] includes the delegitimizing of all authority save that of the state, the degradation of traditional morality and the encouragement of citizens in general and children in particular to despise the rules and customs that make their society a functional democracy. The NEA is drifting into exceedingly dangerous waters, and probably carrying more than a few teachers and pupils with it.” (Chester E. Finn, Jr., Ass’t. Sec. Of Education & Prof. Of Education & Public Policy, Vanderbilt Univ., 1982)

--------------

“Now, my countrymen, if you have been taught doctrines which conflict with the great landmarks of the Declaration of Independence…let me entreat you to come back. Return to the fountains whose waters spring close to the blood of the Revolution.” (Abraham Lincoln)

NO! NO! NO!Conservative should NOT NOT NOT try to go into the government schools in an attempt to reform them! Government schools ARE socialism. Socialism can not be reformed.

Government schools must be SHUT DOWN!!!

Government schools are the very definition of socialism! Simply by attending children learn to be comfortable with the government taking money from their neighbor to pay for a service their parents want tuition-free!

Well! ( Is a “duh” necessary?) If government can take money from a neighbor for tuition-free school, why not a thousand other socialist “free” stuff!!!

I posted the following on a different thread this morning:

Here's my plan for shutting down government K-12 schooling across the nation. Much of it needs to be done on the local and state levels.
Do all of the following simultaneously:

1) Conservatives remove your own children. Contact you local homeschooling group. You will be amazed at the wonderful job families with very limited income and even single working parents are doing with homeschooling. Or..Find a conservative private school.

2)Conservatives should absolutely vigorously work to oppose all legislation that would increase funding to government schools. They should vigorously lobby for reduced property taxes. Government schools need two things: Money and students. Conservatives must work to starve them of both!

3) Encourage the establishment of very small and narrowly focused voucher and tax credit programs ( for instance to help the disabled or only children in failing schools). Then gradually increase the number of children eligible. As children get vouchers, their neighbors on their block will lobby for tax credits and vouchers for **their** children. Large scale attempts to give vouchers or tax credits to all children will likely fail. Utah tried this and NEA was successful in frightening the citizens into voting against it. However...I have noticed it seems every year that Utah's voucher program for the disabled seems to expand. :-)

4) Encourage charters and push the envelope! If Muslims can get away with Muslim charters then Christians should do the same.

5)Push for vouchers or tax credits that would allow for one-room schools in the homes, small rented spaces, or day care centers, run by individual teachers. This would eliminate expenses for building and maintaining prison-like structures.

6) Push for legislation that would allow any child of any age to take the GED exam, or a similar private exam. If they pass, award them a fully certified diploma from the government high school in their district! This would remove the stigma of the GED ( Good Enough Diploma) and would simplify matters for homeschoolers. Doing this would allow bright children to leave the government schools and allow them to enter college and still be eligible for grants and loans. It would simplify entrance into the military as well. This would help reduce the population of government school enrollees and starve the government system of money and students.

(By the way, my homeschooled kids started college at 13, 12,and 13 but because they were forbidden by the state to take the GED they could not apply for loans or grants.)

6) Conservatives should start charitable education foundations that would award grants to individual teachers. The teachers would open one-room schools. This would greatly decrease the expense of educating children since the cost of building and maintaining large prison-like structures would be nearly completely eliminated. By the way, isn't it time that conservatives be as generous funding K-12 education as they are with donating to Marxist colleges and universities?

7) Conservative must break the monopoly that government schooling has on youth sports, theater, music, and arts programs by providing private alternatives. Or...Conservatives could lobby to have these programs completely moved to their county's Department of Recreation.

8)In California teachers in some schools have voted to have their schools become Green Dot charters. Conservatives should do what they can to support this.

All of the above will help build the infrastructure needed for complete privatization of K-12 education. Once voucher, charter, one-room schools, and tax credit schools are widely available, conservatives should push for lower taxes on all and encourage parents to PAY THE TUITION FOR THEIR OWN KIDS! Charity would pay for the poor.

Finally...Our colleges and universities have endowments in the BILLIONS! Harvard alone has an endowment of 35 BILLION! If government had never distorted the K-12 market by opening socialist-funded government schools in the mid-1800s perhaps by now K-12 education would be equally well endowed.

It is possible for K-12 education to be sooooo well endowed (PRIVATELY )that no parent in the U.S. would ever have the need to pay tuition. K-12 education would be completely funded through charitable endowments! YES! It is possible.

In fact....American has been wealthy enough that by now, perhaps, every child in the **world** could have had a PRIVATE and CONSERVATIVE fully endowed K-12 education.

Instead, of the “demoralization” that Yuri Besmenov warned, we could by now have been **RE-moralizing** not only our nation but the children of the world.

WARNING!!!:

1) The Marxists will do all they can to put big fat strings on any vouchers or tax credits. They will lobby for zoning, building, and handicap restrictions.

2) We must avoid what is going happening on the college level. Every time Pell Grants and loans are increased the colleges and universities raise their tuitions. This is an especially bitter punch in the nose to those who have prudently saved for their child's college education.

Solution: Conservatives must continually push toward privatization by having conservative foundations and the parents themselves take on more and more of the funding of the private K-12 system.

Couldn't disagree with you more. Even the founders intended public education to some degree. The idea that we should abolish public education is even more self-defeating than simply turning our back on education and allowing the left to run it all. Now, has it GONE socialist? Yes, absolutely and that is why we need to return it to first principles.
