Video from WFXT FOX 25 Boston, MA: A billboard aiming to sell pomegranate juice is drawing the ire of suicide prevention groups. "What's on the billboard is upsetting some people who see and what's nesting behind it is making it difficult to take it down!" Everyone is offended in this local story as political correctness short circuits itself!

No matter what the angle (PC or not), the ad is in poor taste.

That guy reminds me a little of my brother. My brother is so liberal, he wears a bicycle helmet during sex.

I’m surprised it was suicide prevention groups who complained. Usually blacks complain about the sight of a noose.

The ads may be offensive to some, but I now know what Pom is. It accomplished that much anyway.

Im surprised it was suicide prevention groups who complained. Same here. That is an execution type noose for neck cracking. Suicides don't usually involve that violent type of hanging.

Would they take down a scantily clad, sexually suggestive billboard if a Christian group complained? No.

Indeed! Pomegranate juice REALLY rocks!! We use the undiluted organic version with no added anything, then put a capful or so in bottled water. (I'm not sure what's in POM other than the juice ...)

As for the ad itself, eh, I thought it got it's point across more so than most now days. I wasn't offended by it but as others have said I find sexploitation of products offensive. Boobs and butt have nothing to do with 99% of products that resort to that sort of advertising but this got right to the point.

I like the boobs and butt ads myself, even if I don't care about what they're selling...

Maybe it was a black-suicide-prevention group.
