From News channel 2 in Atlanta. Agents in New Mexico and Arizona are catching thousands of OTM’s (other than Mexicans). Border patrol and ranchers are finding muslim prayer shaws, muslim jackets with "martyr" patches on them. “There are people who mean to do us harm who cross our borders every day”. One of the world’s most wanted terrorist was spotted in Atlanta who most likely came up through the mountains by means of the Mexican border. These terrorists learn to speak Spanish then travel to Mexico and blend in with other illegal’s trying to enter this USA!

Scary stuff and more reason for border control.
That said, just because both generally have brown skin and black hair doesn’t mean you can’t tell a (Mestizo) Mexican from an Arab - Arab/Middle Eastern men are hairier, tend to be taller, and despite darker coloration have more or less Caucasian features. From a distance, sure, they blend in, but up close, no way.

The problem is - this has been going on for a long time. Bush did nothing substantive. Obama has done even less... putting the breaks on what little fence/wall/etc. was approved.

Terrorists crossing the border has been a major concern of those of us living on the border since 9/11. Problem is our government did not understand or want to deal with that threat for whatever reason. The border should have been secured after 9/11 but many still don't understand the very real threat to our security.
This thread was fairly recent and got little attention:
Federal authorities say they're certain nearly 300 Somalis allegedly smuggled into the United States by a Virginia man who admitted contacts with an Islamic terrorist group are in the country, but they can't find them despite a worldwide search for leads...
