The Ever War: Federal Chaos Plague Destroys Working Class

Imagine if a plague was intentionally set loose in your neighborhood: A plague of social disintegration leading to the widespread rape of women, sack of property and a skyrocketing homicide rate. During the 1990's, this is exactly what happened. As part of a grand experiment, the working class were injected with a dose of poverty and chaos ensued: Neighborhoods were ruined, lives were destroyed and families were ripped apart. This experiment continues to this day

"You see, sir, rich people and theorists -- who are usually rich people -- think of poverty in the negative, as the lack of riches -- as disease might be called the lack of health. But it isn't, sir. Poverty is not the lack of anything, but a positive plague, virulent in itself, contagious as cholera, with filth, criminality, vice and despair as only a few of its symptoms. It is to be stayed away from, even for purposes of study. It is to be shunned."

-from the movie, Sullivan's Travels (1942)

The Clintons, the gift that keeps on giving.

Thanks, wizkid - great post (great quote, too!)

This man and his comrades are socialist scum who must be eliminated from our body politic. They are a danger to individual freedom regardless of their skin color or ethnic/racial background. We must, peacefully, drive these people from our nation’s political stage or we will see the end of freedom in our land.

I was with you until you said "peacefully".

That just might not be possible.

Your reply is so over the top that one has to wonder whether you are a leftist agitator trying to tar conservatives as extremists.

If you actually do propose some sort of violent action, please seek some sort of counseling.

I truly believe that the only war worth winning is the one of ideas. If you are troubled by today’s politics, please seek some sort of positive outlet.

JohnQuincy blog does not support, condone or in any way encourage acts of violence.

As a German American, your user name, WolfGangVonKrieg, brings up some uncomfortable stereotypes. While proud of my heritage, the nazi era is a dark stain that can never be removed.

If I am misinterpreting your comments, please accept my apologies and chalk it up to the current climate.

Wait what huh?

We at FR do not propose violence. We do however prepare for it, as it appears more and more to be an inevibility.

And really, what he said was not even that bombastic or crazy.

I read his comment.

I approve.

May I humbly advise decaf?

***NOTICE***

This JohnQuincy post has been deleted due to concerns about comments that appear to advocate violent action.

While it opened with some hyperbole, the heart of the post was to raise awareness of a serious issue concerning the working class. For the most part, the working class people impacted were members of minority groups. The post did not attack them or the defenseless poor. It did question some federal policies which adversely impacted these groups. The JohnQuincy post that was deleted contained such a notice at the beginning of the post. Past the opening paragraph, readers were treated to some compelling data plus a serious discussion of this issue and its devastating impact on many communities.

It saddens me that a post that took an entire weekend to prepare had to be deleted. It also saddens me to have to self censor my work. I used to make fun of the media for the same self censorship but have learned a hard lesson.

I may repost a seriously reedited (censored) version in the future or may just simply give up the whole venture. One hesitates to post anything but the most lukewarm criticism if it endangers the individuals mentioned.

Maybe I do need decaf.

It seems that I have misinterpreted your remarks.

Please accept my apologies.

Again, chalk it up to the climate.

As you know, there is an effort to tag conservatives as extremists.

It probably is a leftist code word.

Unfortunately, most of the literature dealing with this issue comes from that perspective so you become immersed in it.
