Wow! Thanks much for the ping, and taking the time to put all of this together! Just the other day I was trying to remember Dimitri Duduman’s name as I wanted to again read through his writings and such.

I definitely agree with you and others who see the pressure building against this country. I don’t think it’s a matter of if, but merely a matter of when, where and how. At this point the dam bursting could be anywhere — indeed the first blows (although “quiet”) have already been struck... Russia - true to Putin’s stated agenda and beliefs - has already started putting the pressure back on former Soviet occupied areas (Poland, the Ukraine, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan).

There isn’t much talk of what’s going on in Korea after that So. Korean ship was sunk. However, I believe whenever Kim Jong-il “bites it” his son will be looking for a way to cement his leadership and I don’t think it will be by cracking down on his own people who are already likely at the “brink”.

Then there is the pressure on Israel and within the Middle East - especially with this new call on Israel to disarm... And if they refuse? Well, I prefer not to think about what either the Muslim nations that hate them, or even what their “allies” will do about that... OR, should I say what they will TRY to do?

Lots to think about and look through. My husband and kids didn’t understand why I was so upset when our power went out on Friday night and I discovered that I couldn’t find our candles readily, and the radio was out in the car! This week one of my goals is to make sure all of those basic things are where we can find them readily — AND make sure my girls and my husband do not move them!!! (ARGHH! LOL)

People have been lulled into a false sense of security. Granted it was only a downed power line due to heavy wet snow we received overnight, and they teased me about that — what I don’t think they realize is how vulnerable people can be within a relatively short period of time if things really hit the fan. Just look at the ice storm the other year when people were without power for weeks!

My prayers have included praying for those who do not see the dangers all around them. The mental anguish they will go through if they are not prepared will literally have them wishing for death, and many more than need be will see it sooner or later in that case...
