I think Schumer, and especially Gilli, are vulnerable. ( This is my opinion of Gilli http://raquelokyay.com/?p=152 ) This isn’t your regular election year. The silent majority are paying attention and are peeved. If Townsend or DioGuardi can generate funds from the grass roots, even nation wide if they have to, we can do this!

If you could have gotten a Pataki or Rudy to run you could have gotten Ed Koch to back him Koch is angered at Schumer's refusal to challenge Obama's Israel bashing. Koch could move mountains of NYC voters.
This year may be transformational, I'm not convinced, but in NYS it's not 94.There will be no Pataki surprise this year in the senate. There's a better chance at Gov. if Levy gets the nod. He can campaign and he's honest. Lazio was trotted out early and displayed zero traction, but I think he'll get the nod and lose bigger than he lost to Clinton.
