If you notice, Sarah had to do a little bit of an update. It seems that some dont understand why Sarah made this bold move and endorsed Carly over Chuck DeVore who some consider the real conservative. Though Im in Texas, both I and my West Coast buddy Stacy Drake kind of liked Chuck DeVore.. We hoped Sarah would take a look at Chuck.
The thing is, Sarah did take a look Chuck as well as Carly, in context of the big picture. Heres the deal, extensive polling shows that DeVore had peaked, and was backing up, losing ground, while liberal Republican Tom Campbell was barely edging out Carly for the nomination. Sarah looked at this and knew she had to shake things up.
Electing Tom Campbell would be like giving Barbara Dont Call Me Maam Boxer another six years. Campbell is not simply a RINO (Republican in name only) he is, to borrow from Mark Steyn, a DIABLO (Democrat in all but name only)

Sarah Palin continues to be “tone deaf” and mis-reading the tea leaves. Nice gal, plenty of spunk but seems to be developing a trend.
Carly Fiorina?
Isn’t that the state that Ahnold’s the governor of?
Carly Fiorina?

Declaring support for yet another Vichy Republican is beyond the Pale.
I doubt that Sarah will be a kingmaker if he continues down this path and it's even possible that she won't be a queen maker in California.
Carly/Sarah 2012!
Oh please. I can’t stand Carly.
What kind of credential is that?
DeVore wasn't even going to win the GOP nod.
He's got no money, no traction and no "star power".
Don't get me wrong, he's a good man and right on the issues. He's just not a good CANDIDATE.
Is there a specific issue you believe she's on the wrong side of?
I’m not fond of Fiorina, but there is a fundamental question here taht Sarah may be considering. If the conservatives have absolutely no chance and Fiorina has a chance, it’s good strategy to settle for adequate rather than running someone who wouldn’t win even in this election year. Taking back America for those who believe in the rule of law is far more important than ideological perfection, and I suspect that Fiorina will at least follow a conservative majority if we successfully take a majority of seats. She would be a big step up from Boxer, and I’m not going to fault Sarah Palin for making that calculation (as long as she keeps these decisions thoughtful and appropriate for the big picture).
Wouldn't that be a DIABNO? Maybe it's Democrat In All But Label Only?
I’m with you
He’s an excellent candidate. It’s just that the retards in CA have their heads up their ass. Arnold over McClintock; Now Dingbat over DeVore?
I cant help it, I think the Carly endorsement has an element of the sisterhood thing to it.
You cant deny that Sarah buys into certain feminist themes (glass ceiling, old boys network, etc).
Sarah is making it safe to be a pragmatist again. If nothing else, she deserves high praise for sticking it to the ideologues who would rather lose elections than make hard choices about what is “good enough”.
The perfect is the enemy of the acceptable. Sarah knows it, and since most of the perfectionists had the misguided notion that she was a perfectionist like them, have latched onto her so hard that now they have no choice but to be dragged into reality.
Palin and the rest of the California right is desperate to stop Tom Campbell, with weeks to go, Carly has the money and the numbers to stand a good chance of doing that.
Palin can actually help some in the Carly vs Campbell battle, but nothing could be done to make Devore suddenly make up a consistent 20 point deficit to knock out Campbell, but Carly has the money and position to close a 4 to 7 point gap with Palin's help, especially if Devore drops out in a week or two.
You prefer Tom Campbell?
