Calif. School Bans American Flag Clothing For Non-Existent Mexican Holiday?

California schools really do hate America. In California apparently you are a bad little boy if you wear to school clothing adorned with the good ol' Red, White and Blue. You get thrown out, in fact. At least that is what happened to several patriotic American boys that attend Comunidad Educativa Vivo Roble in California… oh, wait, that is the Live Oak High School in California. With all the dissing of America going on in California I thought the school had changed its name. Sorry.

For the Gilroy Dispatch Lindsay Bryant reports that five young students of Live Oak High School in Gillroy, California were kicked out of school on Cinco de Mayo because they dared to wear the venerable American colors while all the Mexican students were wearing the Green, White and Red colors of the Mexican flag. According to Assistant Principal Miguel Rodriguez these evil American children were "starting a fight."

We really need to destroy this anti-American, mis-education system we have in America and make it so it teaches pro-American stuff again!

You can’t wear an American flag! This is America!

This school administration must be dismantled. If there is some student getting flamed by the image of THIS countries flag THEY are the ones that get sent home.

My husband used to work with a Mexican that said Cinco de Mayo isn’t celebrated in Mexico overall.

"Morbidly obese" is the hot style for mexican females intruding (not a pun) into the USA.

The neighborhood La Raza family flies their snake and pigeon flag both 5/5 and 9/16 ... they don't seem to have many local friends despite the presence of other families on the block who have ties to mexico.

What really cracked me up is that Cinco de Mayo celebrates a winning battle over the FRENCH. Big stinkin’ deal!

Cinco de Mayo is celebrated here to sell more beer. Come on, who thinks beating the French in battle warrants a National Holiday? Its just another Madison Ave gimmick to boost sales of different products. What next, Cinco de Mayo greeting cards???

When I make a ham or turkey sandwich I use five times the mayo that most people do so I should probably be sympathetic. But I’m just not. ;^)

I don't like very much mayo on anything. I think when I was little I opened a jar that was bad & it was awful.

Had my child been sent home I would have gone right back to the school in a flag shirt. I would have called news stations...Oh but the media sides with them.... Sigh. You just can't win. However I believe my child would have been so distressed she would have needed to see a shrink & therefore a lawsuit would be in the works. Shaking my head & trying to think how we can beat these sob's.

We beat them with numbers: what was needed here was a whole bloomin’ Tea Party of patriots with American flags.

I betcha that happens one of these days real soon. We’ve
just about had enough of this denigration of America.
