That’s an impressive bio. West Point, Yale Law, Bronze Star in Gulf War I, etc. etc. etc. Go Joe!

Wow it looks like this thing has legs. Clintonfatigued had pinged me earlier about a possibly Palin endorsement for Murkowski's challenger. Murkowski challenger hints at Palin endorsement Now it appears to be official.

I am very surprised and optimistic about his sudden turn of events. This is a game changer and if Alaska has a late primary, Joe Miller could stand a very good chance of upsetting little Lisa.

Palin's endorsement does carry alot of weight, for good for for ill (witness Perry and Rand Paul's successes). And even moreso in her home state.

I had just about given up hope on Murkowski even having ANY kind of primary challenge a month or two ago, since I had been loudly protesting her borderline RINO record and it seemed to fall on deaf ears with even nationally known conservative pundits (what happened to the freepers always yapping about how "we must concetrate on defeating RINOs in RED STATES first... blah blah blah") Some freepers even seemed quite HAPPY with Frank Murkowski's little RINO princess in office (I have no idea why), and most people who chimed in said Palin weighing in against Murkowski was impossible since she and Murkowski had "made peace" a while back and were now allied. Puke.

Well, whatever the case, apparently after they "made peace", little Lisa turned around and stabbed Sarah in the back after she resigned (dontsa just love RINOs), so all bets were off at that point. Good.

John McCain might be the most high profile backstabber we have in the Senate now, and a bunch of freepers can't stand him, but the record shows that Lisa Murkowski has the least conservative record of any sitting GOP senator up for re-election in 2010. Her latest "conservative" ratings were something like 60%. Terrible for someone representing a state where Republicans win by huge margins. Replacing Murkowski with a decent conservative would be the biggest ideological shift in a Senate seat this election cycle, aside from straight liberal D to conservative R party takeovers.

When is the AK primary coming up? It's time for conservatives nationwide to put this one on the radar. This seat is MADE to elect a decent conservative.

Now if we can just get freepers to stop pressing their lips to John Thune's behind after he betrayed us on Bolton and wants to be all "bipartisan" and ride the federal gravy train whenever possible...

BTW, before any of Lisa Murkowski’s fans on FR (and sadly she a loyal following here) chime in to defend what a “good loyal Republican” she is, I decided to preemptively post her most recent record in office:

Senator Murkowski supported the interests of the American Conservative Union 68 percent in 2009.

Senator Murkowski supported the interests of the American Conservative Union 58 percent in 2008

Senator Murkowski supported the interests of the Eagle Forum 57 percent in 2008.

Senator Murkowski supported the interests of the The Club for Growth 57 percent in 2008.

Senator Murkowski supported the interests of the Citizens Against Government Waste 46 percent in 2007.

In 2007-2008 English First gave Senator Murkowski a grade of C.

Senator Murkowski supported the interests of the FreedomWorks 33 percent in 2007.

Senator Murkowski supported the interests of the Concerned Women for America 48 percent in 2007-2008.

LIBERAL GROUPS

Senator Murkowski supported the interests of the National Family Planning & Reproductive Health Association 100 percent in 2007-2008.

Senator Murkowski supported the interests of the NARAL Pro-Choice America 75 percent in 2007.

Senator Murkowski supported the interests of the National Council of La Raza 50 percent in 2005.

Senator Murkowski supported the interests of the American Immigration Lawyers Association 66 percent in 2007-2008.

Senator Murkowski supported the interests of the AFL-CIO 40 percent in 2008.

Senator Murkowski supported the interests of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) 50 percent in 2008.

Senator Murkowski supported the interests of the Sargent Shriver National Center on Poverty Law 50 percent in 2009.

How any conservative can support this woman in the primary (ESPECIALLY in light of how she got a plush Senate career in the first place) is beyond me.

Hell, is for some strange reason Sarah decides to not run, I want Todd to run instead! :)

With all due respect, Sarah Palin was the bonehead who told Alaskans not to vote for Ted Stevens.

She has very little credibility with me.

But.... but..... Who in Alaska cares who the husband of a ‘quitter’ endorses?

What? You mean that in Alaska they still like Palin and respect her decision to let her Lt. Gove take over while she takes the national stage? You mean she isn't irrelevant and written off as a has been? What do you mean they still respect her political opinion in Alaska? How could that be after all the media has said? Don't these people LISTEN????

LOL! Love it.

For all you people wondering why Todd and not Sarah, perhaps she simply wants to share things with the man she loves. Maybe she felt he was being over whelmed with her “stardom” so to speak. Sometimes people do things for their mates out of love.
