Not sure Ivanka Trump really represents our best spokesperson.
This is Trump’s daughter, not his ex-wife.

I saw the interview and thought it was very impressive. She’s a beautiful and wise young lady with a great head on her shoulders.
I don’t care who she is, she has the correct thought processes.
While Ivanka would make for a poor conservative spokesman, she represents a voting block that Republicans will need to reengage in a substantive way, if they have any hopes of reestablishing a governing majority. Trump, like many affluent and well-educated people, don't necessarily subscribe to the purely social conservative rhetoric that has dominated Republican politics the last 20 years. And, because taxes were relatively low, and economic prosperity abundant under Bill Clinton, they had no fear of Democrat politicians because by-in-large, those politicians more closely mirrored their own stance on social issues while allowing them to keep the fruits of their labor. That has changed.
Obama represents the old-guard Democrat - a Dem who is anti-business, pro "communitarian" and overtly socialistic in their economic and tax approach. Republicans that sing a primarily small-government, pro-growth, low-tax and high productivity message will be appealing to the Trump-ish voters.
Conservatives hate (with good reason) the blue-blooded country-clubber. Ivanka - while all that - is more reflective of the entrepreneurial voter, which is one of the voters that allowed Obama to win. Without them, the Republican party is a party of permanent minority, and effectively irrelevant status. We shouldn't forget it.

Perhaps not the best, but effective nonetheless, as another poster put it, there are a LOT of pro-business types out there that fell for Obama and his rhetoric. Its time to tip these voters back on our side.
