What gives here? Conservative talk show host, Mark Levin, makes an excellent observation as well as ask an excellent question. First the Obaminator: "...and the Department of the Interior has announced that they will be sending Swat teamns to the Gulf to inspect all platforms and rigs." Mark Levin: "Swat teams from the Department of the Interior? When I was Deputy Secretary of the Interior Department (during the Reagan administration), I don't remember any Swat teams. Now you heard hims say that the Department of the Interior was going to send Swat teams, I didn't know that they had Swat teams. And by the way, as a side issue, I'm now guessing that many of these environmental and land agencies probably do have armed Swat teams, which is really stunning to me." What is going on here? The news agency ABC doesn't even blink an eye, even changes the text to read SWAT TEAMS are being sent...not that the Department of the Interior is going to send them, let alone asking the question of why they're sending Swat teams in the first place, they're not experts in evironmental disasters. What's going on here? KGS
Very interesting...
Please do not post from EU Times any more. They are not welcome here. They have long since been a front site for several neo-nazi groups and are notoriously unreliable in their theories and reporting.
Well I meant the NK might have had a hand in it is all..
CBS News also reported SWAT team being deployed.
“Mr. Obama said SWAT teams were being dispatched to the Gulf to investigate oil rigs and said his administration is now working to determine the cause of the disaster.”

If this explosion even smelled like a terrorist attack, this might not be a bad move. I would have sent in the SEALS though. They are more prepared for this type of activity.
Okay, didn’t know. :)
These Swat Teams are experts in the engineering aspects of oil rigs. I would be more worried about the AG’s Swat Team.
