Efforts to provoke Tea Party activists to violence during President Obama's stop in Quincy, Ill., fell flat, proving that Tea Partiers are not violent!
According to a Quincy Whig-Herald newspaper account published after the event, Deputy Dreyer said he sent in more than a dozen members of his "Mobile Field Force" -- men dressed head to toe in riot gear -- only after a crowd of some 200 Tea Partiers failed to move when asked and then began singing "God Bless, America" and the national anthem. Not true. I was there.
In reality, those Tea Partiers -- from Missouri, Illinois and Iowa -- rallied peacefully outside the Oakley Lindsay Civic Center while the president was inside, delivering a Wall Street-bashing speech.
And who heard that speech? It was a mostly liberal crowd that included at least four busloads of supporters brought in from Kansas City, St. Louis, Springfield and Chicago. Astroturf.

Tea Partiers Make Obummer Wincy in Quincy
It seems that most of what Obama has been doing this year is knowingly inciting most of the country. He seems to want to incite the Right and even the Middle to violence so that he can have an excuse for himself using violence. He seems to be hoping to set off class warfare, according to Karl Marx’s play book, The Communist Manifesto.
Hello, Barack: Marx’s dumb theories were soundly disproven by the 100 year Soviet experiment. What part of “doesn’t work, complete failure” don’t you or your handlers understand? Oh, I know - you’re not willing to give up the part about the joy of seizing power over everyone.
Thanks Bob for keeping us updated. Great work. I read that account from the local paper. What a bald faced lie!!!
I was just chatting on another thread about how silly/embarrassing this all seemed to be from the 3 clips I wathced on u tube.
I have a question.
How far from the tea party folks and the riot police was the Liberal gathering?
From the clips it gives the perspective of just that what you can visually see and hear in the clips.
So where in perpective was the other group?
That might help explain why the riot fellow came marching out and back. Looks like a block or so.
Perhaps they were just letting folks on both sides of the political groups know if anyone becomes uncivil we will address the issue...literally.
I also did not know Obama passed through/stopped in Quincy.
Was he in the area when the riot police where givin orders to go out and do the excercise?
Again I am just trying to put it into a realistic perspective.
None of you are sufficiently credible for your position to be worthy.
ONE question: HOW MANY degrees do you have?
Suppose the issue was “cancer”
Hahahah that was awesome!
What??
What is "Sarcasm"?
I'll take witty remarks on Free Republic for 600 next Alex...
Just wait the riot Police were there for the sake of the Tea Party Protesters. See they were there to protect them against Obama. Obama is so upset at Tea party members he will resort to violence, name calling and more jobs being lost. Obama the Pantywaist Pissant preschooler is having a tantrum, “All these people are preventing me in achieving my goals, and they need to thank me for actually lowering their taxes. These people are so ungrateful. Do not they know I am a historical president, the first black man to lead the US into the New World Order. Historical he is not HYSTERICAL He is.
I wish I could have made it up to Quincy but some of us have to make a living. And it does not surprise me that that they bussed ppl in . . .zero is a Chicago polician . . .those downstate don’t really like Chicago politicians all that much!
Spin vs reality.
Spin vs reality.
...not to mention “wee weed up”.
Who paid for the swat team? Taxpayers should be ticked and let them know how ticked they are.
