Since there has recently been talk of having to license your home in order to sell it after Cap-and-Trade, how long will it be before ObamaCare demands that parents get a license before having a child, all in the name of planning for future health care expenses?
The day will come when you can't have a child until the government can match the start of the child's health care costs with the termination of someone else's health care costs.

Whenever the legislators endeavor to take away and destroy the property of the people, or to reduce them to slavery under arbitrary power, they put themselves into a state of war with the people, who are thereupon absolved from any further obedience. ~ John Locke

I know there is another paper written by Emanuel in which is states something like you just mentioned . It’s about controlling births in the populations who can not afford to raise/care for the children. I wish I could find it but I can not remember what the title to the paper was. It was one he wrote when he was much younger. Basically forced abortions on the poor to save the government the cost of benefits. Ironically the people who support this the most are the ones who will be hurt by it the most.

At that point calling someone an "illegal" could take on a whole different meaning, as many people would choose to have their babies secretly at home. Hmmm, doesn't the "Where There Is No Doctor" series have a book called "Where There Is No Midwife"?
Ramses learned the hard way, people tend not to just go along with things like that.
