There is no jury, but rather "The Court", a panel of military members, in this case it would be all officers, since Lakins is an officer. However it's the judge that gets to decide on the legality of the orders. But there is some hope. The judge will be an Army Officer, who wears the same uniform as Lakins. He or she could have the same reacton. "Well Damn" (The manual for court marital specifically mentions the Authority of the order giver as a consideration as to wether an order is lawful. IOW, an order to perfrom an otherwise lawful act, might still be unlawful if the order giver had no Authority to give it).

Question. What happens next? How will the Army keep order and discipline? Would Obama resign if the Army started to disband?

I wouldn't think so, they'd just stop obeying his orders. Whose orders would they obey?... Now that is an "interesting" question.

This is also interesting. This is a Military tribunal? Obama and Holder believe a military tribunal is not good enough for Kalid Sheik Mohammed, 9-11 mastermind. But an American asking to see his BC ... its just fine.

Also, we dont know how the trial will unfold. There is a possibility that Obama will provide a BC, issue a pardon and send Lakin back to work.

Highly unlikely. I Can see Michelle Obamma now, “Put that Alabama cracker in jail and let him rot! Now lets take a vacation to Kenya, your Home country, to see how they spend American taxpayer money, Ha Ha !!!”
