The Republicans are just playing right into the Democrat argument. Wall Street bad, banks bad, campaign donations bad. I'm tired of hearing it. I wish they would come out and say "STOP DEMONIZING CAPITALISM!" Lay out the reasons that Capitalism works. Lay out the reasons that Socialism and Communism do not. Instead, we get a party being accused of being recipients of "evil Wall St" money and responding with "Nuh-uh! You guys get more money from those evil companies!"

in what sense is wall street and the corporate crooks representatives of capitalism?
In no way. They are common thieves willing to get citizen bailouts given to them without our consent by their crook mobster political buddies.

Good commercial but as long as John Cornyn heads up the NRSC it's not getting any money from me.

In an America with an authentic media (instead of of a democrat party prostitute media), these facts would be well known to all. Republicans would not have to pay big advertising bucks to their enemies to get the truth out.
That being said, this is a terrific ad:

Corporate crooks and Wall Street are two separate things. Wall Street IS capitalism. Corporate crooks looking for government bailouts IS a path to socialism. In capitalism, if you can't operate a business at a sustainable level, it fails. You pick up the pieces and start something else. In socialism, if you can't operate a business at a sustainable level, you become part of the government.

The worst offenders and the biggest bailout recipients gave the vast majority of their millions of campaign contributions to Democrats. There is no denying it. Now President Obama and the Democrats pretend they are the heroes who will take on Wallstreet? It is laughable.

Wall Street is corrupt - not all of them but enough.
They engage in deliberate falsification and promoting bad investments — quite stunningly.
Capitalism is not about “beware of being lied to”.... the capitalistic system should be on disclosure and veracity. That those how working on Wall Street tell the truth.
And the more Big Brother is involved in the process the worse the possibility of corruption.
