Time after time the hosts of national talk shows, and their guests as well, are too ignorant on the subject to understand that it isn't about the birth certificate and place of birth, but about being a natural born citizen.

As long as the general public is kept in the dark as to the actual issue the longer that the issue can be pushed aside as a "kook/conspiracy/tin foil hat" issue. The moment that a legitimate debate on the issue of natural born citizen is entered into the public will know that the media fronted 'bitspeak' of "he was born in Hawaii" was all a ruse to begin with to keep them in the dark and as ignorant as they pretend to be.

We used to watch cartoons where you had to follow the bouncing ball to sing along with the song. Which cartoon of a news show is going to be brave enough to first broach the subject? I can't say, but it doesn't look good. So far neither any 'news person', nor their news agency, has shown the testicular fortitude to step up to the plate and inform their fellow Americans on the issue. There are no balls on my television screen any more.

The media as a whole, including FOX, is just as complicit and as negligent in not addressing this as Congress.

I guess I can add Gibbs to the list of the ignorant, meme pushing, non testicular newsies.

His place of birth isn't even the issue. It's the fact that he was a British Subject at Birth -- period. Even IF his mother (according to the laws in place at the time of his birth within the purported state of his birth, and his mother's place of legal resident) could transfer US Citizenship to him at birth he would STILL be ineligible.

They are trying to frame debate to pretend it's all about the place of his birth, when the truth is, he could have been born IN th WHITE HOUSE and STILL would not be eligible.

That's OK though -- we've finally gotten the media to actually address some of these questions -- even IF we KNOW every question is OK'd by some WH Press guy (not sure if it' s Gibbs or what) in the first place. Just proves even more that they are starting to worry a bit more (as they should).

I wonder how Sgt. Gibbels is enjoying his self-described job as "Keeper of the Image" now??? His job is going to get immensely harder in the weeks to come... You can bet on it...

Did you happen to read the comments on the site in you link. Wow! every single one of them is basically the same. Birthrates are raciest and besides obumber has already shown his BC, and there’s no reason to even ask if he hasn’t. It’s not very encouraging, if you were judging Americans from these comments at the nyt alone, you’d have to say the American experiment failed miserably.

Hey Gibbels, did it ever occur to you that the document "you" put on the internet does not tell WHERE THE PRES__ENT was born?
