A "felony" stop for a "rolling" stop.
"It started off well enough, er, sort of.., As I passed the OathKeepers truck and moved in front to get off at the HWY 68 exit (I-75 exit #60 in TN) I waved but he didn't see me so we both exited and came up to the stop sign for our right hand turn into Sweetwater/Madisonville. I came to a slow rolling stop and proceeded on but when I looked into my rear view mirror I already saw blue lights and Darren's truck had just reached a stop. As he proceeded to pull over I saw two sets of lights and knew I'd better get back there so I turned into the Shell station (just a couple hundred yards away) only to be faced with a silver SUV enforcement vehicle turning in front of me as if to preform a roadblock. I swerved to the right, arround the SUV and proceeded to the closest point I could find in th BK parking lot which over looked the scene which had already grown to four (three TN Patrol cars and one Black SUV all with lights flashing).Continued 4/21/2010--- The plot thickens. The silver SUV joined the other law enforcement at the scene and the detainment began. Darren Huff, Chaplain for the GA. Militia, OathKeeper and 2nd amendment advocate was the driver. This FED style stop, over an alledged rolling stop traffic violation was very tense as the officers (dressed in black and brandishing riot shotguns and hand guns, all pointed at Darren) had Darren get out of the truck, walk backwards towards them where they disarmed him and, well, listen to the Audio file below of him explaining events as they unfolded..."

The story is this:
Lt. Cmdr. Walter Fitzpatrick and I, along with five other patriots, went to the Monroe County [TN] courthouse Thursday, April 1, to serve some criminal arrest warrants
While Fitzpatrick filed for the warrants at the court clerk’s office, James Bowman and I called the Madisonville Police Department to tell them we planned to make a citizen’s arrest at the courthouse and we wanted a police officer to go with us. The police dispatcher told us an officer was on his way to help us.James Bowman and I then went to the courthouse to help Fitzpatrick serve the warrants. We covered all the exits to be sure Gary Pettway couldn’t leave undetected.
According to Tennessee law, the term of a grand jury foreman is limited to no more than two years. City and county officials have refused to investigate Monroe County Judge Carroll L. Ross for convening grand juries using the same jury foreman, Gary D. Pettway, for the past 27 years.

This is a big mistake. The OathKeepers are the absolute last group that you want to be messing with, especially given the current zeitgeist.
How do you professionally tell cops to gfy ?

I haven't seen any additional updates on what happened in Monroe TN at Lt.Cmdr. Fitzpatrick's hearing. There isn't anything by him (other that what's posted above), regarding any details, on his own blog either.

Breaking News:
Carl Swensson and an Oath Keeper were in transit to the Monroe County courthouse to show support for Lt. Cmdr. Walter Fitzpatrick III (Ret). They were approximately 15 minutes from their destination when the Oath Keeper was pulled over while driving lawfully.
There were three sheriffs and two unmarked SUV’s and all had their lights on. Carl said he was behind the car driven by the Oath Keeper, Carl said he was not detained but the Oath Keeper is being held inside his car with no probable cause.
The only difference between Carl and the car in front of him is that the car in front of him had a sign that said “Oath Keeper”. Carl said the sign was not hand drawn but professionally made.
Carl said that they must have been “tracking” them. Obviously it has now become unlawful to personally promote publicly or otherwise display support for the U.S. Constitution.
