In response to the Arizona House having given its initial blessing to a bill that would require Barack Obama to show his birth certificate before he can be put on the ballot in 2012, Assistant House Democratic Leader Kyrsten Sinema says the Republicans' birther bill is ridiculous! "Nobody at the Secretary of State office has a copy of my birth certificate". This clip is even funnier due to the fact that Ms. Sinema talks so fast that you might consider playing this clip at half speed.

A totally inane idea. The birth certificate hunt is following a red herring.

******

Ms Sinema: That's a good idea: Maybe it is time that a state's secretary of state have a copy of the birth certificate of ALL candidates for federal public office like Representative and Senator.

Ms. Sinema: If the state of Arizona does NOT have a copy of your long form birth certificate attached to your application to run for Representative, then how are Arizona voters going to know that you meet the age requirement in the Constitution of the United State?

Are Arizona voters simply to take your word that you are as old as you say you are? I don't think so.
