So where’s the volcanoes in N.Y. state? Anywhere in New England or Eastern canada after the last Ice Age? North Eastern Europe? These places were covered by more than a mile of ice. By this idiotic logic there should have been volcanoes all over the place.
Iceland is on top of the Atlantic Rift, that’s why the volcanoes. Just Like Hawaii.
i wonder if the heat rising from the volcano had any effect on the glacier above it...if the volcano melted the glacier rather than the melting glacier caused the volcano to become more active.

Like I said before. We have volcanic eruptions at the bottom of the oceans, under intense pressure at freezing temperatures. If thinning ice caps caused volcanos, there would be none on the sea floor.
