After watching the movie "Afghan Star," I couldn't help but be concerned for the safety and welfare of a female contestant who had her hair showing partially and who did a short / restricted "dance" while singing and who, for those reasons had utter national upset and threats against her life concerning her "behavior" on television.

The Stoning of Soyora M, is also well worth the rental viewing.

Thanks Mama Dearest.

For those who aren’t used to viewing jihadis, islamists and their habits; it is worth renting the movies.

Obviously this is awful, but we could run similar stories about atrocities that happen to kids in the US.

My only point is I’m not sure if this is really wide-spread or if it’s just a news story to turn American’s against war in Afghanistan.

Well thank you for sharing for-q-clinton.

I’ve been watching sites of interest regarding the Middle East since 2001.

If I didn’t think this was important; I wouldn’t have posted it.

Ok, how widespread is it? How much does this occur vs child abuse in the US? I'm not trying to say we are the same as Afghanistan, but I've noticed a lot of news all of the sudden that is trying to question what we are fighting for over there. It's almost as if the news is trying to make us say it's not worth it and just quit. At least the Taliban is against making boys dance.

But then again with the Taliban all girls are abused...not just the ones that their parents sell to dance for men.

I looked at several websites about this. It does seem curious that a pratice that is at least hundreds of years old is should suddenly be of interest to the MSM.

It’s also interesting that MSM is not the least interested in Jennings & the opinions of the organizations he endorses.

Use FR key words and Google for any further research on subjects you are interested in.

Thank you for your interest in child abuse regarding the boys and the girls.

Similar atrocities?

“In Afghanistan today, in the midst of war and endemic poverty, an ancient tradition — banned when the Taliban were in power — has re-emerged across the country: Many hundreds of boys, often as young as 11, are being lured off the streets on the promise of a new life, many unaware that their real fate is to be used for entertainment and sex. They’re the “Bacha Bereesh,” literally “beardless boys,” chosen for their height, size and beauty, trained to sing and dance for male audiences, and then traded for sexual favors among former warlords and powerful businessmen. With remarkable access inside a sexual exploitation ring operating in Afghanistan, an Afghan journalist investigates this illegal practice, talking with the boys and their masters, and documenting how the Afghan authorities responsible for stopping these crimes are sometimes themselves complicit in the practice.”

We have a similar atrocity in our history?

I followed the link and watched both videos--it turned my stomach to see those predatory homosexual adults lusting after innocent boys dancing before them...horrific and so very ugly.

Then I visited the home page of the creepingsharia website and COULD NOT BELIEVE the article there about the TSA...that, too, made me SICK!

What is going on? Are people AFRAID of these slimeballs?
