Is Bill O'Reilly misinformed or in the tank? Fair and balanced my a**! Why is Obama is spending over $1mil to hide a birth certificate worth less than 20 bucks?

Bill O'Reilly was spinning so fast last night (4/15/10) it made me dizzy. Bill was trying to prove Obama was born in the U.S. and purposely neglecting the 'natural born citizen' issue that is the real issue. Bill has been punked by two newspaper birth announcements that are automatically generated after a COLB is issued. Reporters don't investigate each birth---they print what they're given by the health authorities. If they're given a phony COLB they'll print a phony birth announcement.
O'Reilly or his staff should be aware that regardless of where Obama was born, the real 'birther' issue is that he does not qualify as a 'natural born citizen'. The birth certificate has never been the whole story; if Bill doesn't know it, the nuns didn't teach him how to read. This isn't the first time Bill has skewed the news.
On the Oct 27, 2009 O'Reilly Factor, Bill sat stupidly while Lis Wiehl made several conspicuously false statements regarding the facts related to Obama's birth documentation. Referring to the 'birthers', Ms. Wiehl stated that "It's this whole movement that says that Obama was elected from a bad, unconstitutional point of view because he was not born in the United States. That's been litigated. Congress investigated. His birth document from Hawaii was shown."
First, regarding "That's been litigated" this case has never actually been heard in open court (because the plaintiffs have been denied standing).
Second, regarding "Congress investigated." Does anyone know to what she is referring? Or as that a total fabrication? Does she really think that Barney Frank and Harry Reid have "investigated" this?
Third, regarding "His birth document from Hawaii was shown", Ms. Wiehl fails to mention that what has been shown is purported to be a bona fide copy of Mr. Obama's birth documentation. Furthermore, the validity of that copy is disputed for a number of reasons. (And they never mention the fact that Hawaii issues two types of birth documentation, and that there is an interesting dispute as to which type of birth documentation Mr. Obama has.)
O'Reilly is hiding under his desk and refuses to give the opposing point of view time to respond. A fair and balanced newscast would allow Lt. Col. Lakin's spokesman time to respond. The colonel has done more for this country in one year than O'Reilly will ever do---his spokesperson deserves to be heard.

How about this. Do some googling and post something that BO says that shows he is in the tank for Obama. Even more, post something that he has said this year that you disagree with.

IF....I say “if” the Honolulu Advertiser birth announcement is genuine - so what. Obama’s white in-laws could have planted it to provide cover for her daughter’s birth of a mixed race child to their daughter and Kenyan father. After all, this was 1961 and the paper was as the name indicates an advertising publication that required no authentication at the time.
I can’t watch him any more. He really turns my stomach.
This is a sincere question as I just heard this a few minutes ago. BillO says that he has two news clippings from Hawaii announcing BarakO’s birth. Is this true that there are contemporary news clippings on his birth in Hawaii?
I disagreed with him when he said o is not a socialist. I watched his interviews with Obammy, and I actually had him on the other night with the sound off, watching him gleefully show an extended clip of Tina Fey doing sarah.
I watched him pretty regularly up until the end of 2008, so i know what he is about- himself, and his ego, and making money on his books.

BOR has definately not called Obama out in a lot of ways. He defends him on a regular basis and misses very good points. Several weeks ago he had a bunch of conservatives, one after another who gave argument that Obama definitely leaned socialist - BOR literally scoffed at them.
His interviews, while not softball, never hit on any of the hard issues I was concerned about. He kept talking about “giving him a chance”. BOR kept saying, “But he says” - never looking at what Obama had DONE.
I can quote myriad instances of OReilly being far softer on Obama than many people realize.
I watch every day, and Oreilly has gone SOFT BIG TIME, He said at least TWICE last night that “ Hawaiian Officials VERIFIED OBAMA’s BIRTH CERTIFICATE.” That is an out and out LIE, for if they did they would have been PROSECUTED for NUMEROUS CRIMINAL ACTS FOR UNLAWFULLY DISCLOSING INFORMATION. Nobody from ANY GOVERNMENT agency of ANY KIND has ever VERIFIED ANYTHING.. O’Reilly name this Hawaiian Official so they can be PROSECUTED.

BOR is, at heart, a left wing guy from LA who puts on a good face to satisfy Fox viewers. He is pro abortion, pro illegals, wishy washy on gay marriage, won’t call BO a socialist, like McKook, etc. What more do you need to know?

I’m not justifying BOR at all — I think he is an arrogant windbag.
But if we are so upset with the way he handles the birth certificate mess we should be even more p*ssed with the way every congresscritter has shied away from that issue while they are the ones whose overblown salaries we pay and who swore to defend the Constitution.

Bill O’Reilly has lived in NY and I believe near to where he grew up as a youth and his mother still lives near him. He’s also a RC so I sincerely doubt he’s pro-abortion. I know he’s against the death penalty.
Yea, but so what. There are a lot of reasons why a woman might want her baby to have been born in the USA given his mixed parentage. I he was born in Indonesia when his father was a citizen there, he would not have US citizenship. What’s that worth putting aside the issue about his qualifications for the Presidency?
