The Brady's President expressed the group's extreme displeasure at this turn of events in yesterday's press release

Aww, that's a shame.

I am sure another criminal will murder a few people in cold blood soon so you can use the story in a press release.

“However, we express no opinion concerning this debate because Courts do not approve or disapprove the wisdom...or desirability of legislative acts.”

Wow, I can’t believe they actually said it!

worth repeating:

The Court further said, "However, we express no opinion concerning this debate because Courts do not approve or disapprove the wisdom...or desirability of legislative acts."

Anti Gun Group Prepares For The Another Loss

You call that a loss? THIS is a loss: AZ is poised to become the third state in the union to recognize "Constitutional Carry" (we're already open carry, this bill would additionally recognize concealed carry without the need for a CCW permit)! The bill, SB1108, has passed the legislature and has been on the Governor's desk awaiting signature since Monday, the 12th. If she doesn't veto it by the end of Saturday, it will become law even without her signature.

Has anyone asked the Brady Bunch why it has issued NO scathing attack on the Ft. Hood Islamic terrorist and his obvious disregard for one of Brady’s “gun free” zones?

Utah is at the top of my list of states to go to for college, simply because I can carry on campus. If Colorado joins with their state colleges, that’s a good bunch more AND they have Utah to look to for inspiration.

The unintended consequences of this could prove very interesting. Lots of young people like to shoot and would perfer to carry their weapons to protect themselves instead of hoping to live long enough for 911 to respond. Given time, it may attract a significant number of conservative college students to a specific system, thus concentrating their numbers. It might also be repulsive to some liberal students who will complete their degrees elsewhere.

What will be the effect of a strongly conservative student body on a statewide university system? I hope the State of Colorado has enough strength to leave this in place so we can find out. There is a market waiting to be tapped.
