We don't often get Democrats on our side. Pat Caddell made some sense and Sean as much as cut him off. When Pat said we need new blood I almost fell off the couch as I tend to agree. Hannity drags out old losers like Newt and expects us to put faith in them. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me.

I think I heard Newt just this past week still defending his Piglosi couch commercial touting “Saving the Planet”.

Pat Caddell is one of the very few Democratic politicians that I actually consider normal human beings. And he usually makes more sense than Sean Hannity.

I’ll probably catch hell for this but I’ve always liked Pat.
I remember first watching him during the count-recount-count’em-til-they’re-”right” fiasco.
He was livid about it.

"Pat Caddell is one of the very few Democratic politicians that I actually consider normal human beings. And he usually makes more sense than Sean Hannity."How sad is that?

Pat Caddell made some sense and Sean as much as cut him off. Sean, Huckabee and O'Reilly are all of a certain mindset, many times not the same mindset as those of us who watch them (or have watched them in the past before we got tired of their behavior).
To: SmokingJoe
I’ve always liked him too. Pat Caddell seems to be a decent, honest and fair man.
Sean Hannity needs to let go of Newt. I think it is great that he’s writing books and making movies about history. That is very important work, and he should continue along that path. I do not think he could ever get elected as President. But then, what do I know? I never thought I’d get up everyday and say FUBO right after the Shema.

I watched it and didn’t see a diss. I guess it’s all in the eyes of the beholder. Sean is a friend as is Pat Cadell.

"I think I heard Newt just this past week still defending his Piglosi couch commercial touting Saving the Planet". Newt lost credibility with me long ago for many reasons. The fact I I find myself in agreement with Pat Cadell on anything is almost surreal.

You know Sean and Newt go way back. Sean was on WSB Radio ,"The Flagship Station of the South", here in the Metro area around the time that Newt led the Republican Revolution in Congress.
I feel that Newt personally let me down when he was reelected by a landslide but days later ran away from Congress like a scalded dog with his tail between his legs. A Democrat ties another eagle feather to his coup stick but a Republican wallows in ashes for the same supposed transgression.
Some old habits are still hard to break though. You probably heard the ovation Newt's name got in the segment with Frank Luntz.

"I watched it and didnt see a diss. I guess its all in the eyes of the beholder. Sean is a friend as is Pat Cadell."I suppose that is true. Where I saw the problem was when Pat said we need new blood on both sides. I can't disagree with that. Pat got applause on that point. That is where Sean maybe said the wrong thing. And I don't dislike Sean Hannity. But he is friends with Juan Williams. And I dislike Juan for many reasons.

I hope Sean doesnt/isnt turning into another Geraldo. Considering what little he has to work with , Sean tries to think like a conservative . I really think he has a good heart and means well . The magic of television and radio makes us almost forget , pushing a conservative agenda is not really the goal of his show . It is business . It is ratings . It is selling advertising , not public service . He will have start doing cooking programs if that gets ratings .

Sean is beginning to sound like Chris Matthews. Cutting someone off in mid sentence so he can get HIS point across. And I like Sean Hannity, but he needs to listen to his show late at night.

I honestly don't understand how anybody can watch or listen to him. He is an absolute idiot. He can only repeat the same four catch-phrases over and over. He does not present information well at all.
Hannity does more to hurt conservatives then liberals do. He just makes us look terrible.
To: higgmeister
"I feel that Newt personally let me down when he was reelected by a landslide but days later ran away from Congress like a scalded dog with his tail between his legs."And now Newt wants to go green what ever the hell that is supposed to mean. Actually what it means is more government control. Newt needs to retire and write books no sane person would read as there is not enough time in the day to bother with them. For Newt to envoke Ronald Reagan is a travisty in my opinion.

You really dislike Juan Williams that much?
I find him to be an annoying whiner that I can watch for a while, but if that Bob Beckel comes on - all bets are off! (including Sean's show)
