All the press seems to be going to Tiger but Lee Westwood played consistantly well and Phil hit the shots off the tee beautifully.
I really think Lee Westwood might take the Masters tomorrow, but I’m hoping it’s Phil.
Tiger, not to make excuses for the guy, had a real problem today with is allergies and it made him play bad. So, who knows, tomorrow he might pull it off, but I’m routing for Phil and I’m afraid it might be the Englishman, Westwood.
It’s well beyond tone deafness. Tiger comparing his coming back from getting caught committing serial adultery and Hogan coming back from a life-threatening injury after heroically placing his body in harm’s way to save his wife is pure, unadulterated idiocy. Tiger is a classless, childish, hot-head punk.
South Park covered this whole thing quite well.
Phil’s playing out of his mind. Last year on Sunday he shot 30 on the front 9 in a staggering display. Westwood is very solid and has really taken his game to the next level.
Sleepers could be Poulter or Mahan. Tiger could win too but his is still a creep.
Tiger Woods has NEVER been classy. His behavior in tournaments has been terrible. He's known for being cold to the fans, nasty when he hits a bad shot or isn't playing well, and is a general all-around spoiled brat, in the truest sense of what that means.
He reminds me of our pathetic president. He’s lost once he gets off script or away from his telepromter.
HGH is to tiger as Birth Certificate is to obama. In both cases, they are the only shoe left to drop.
Barry Bonds has been castigated and shunned right out of the sport he loves (while never testing positive for anything), yet this clown continues to get a pass. The before and after photos of both of them are remarkably similar.
The pre-Masters coverage today had video of past Champions and some of the incredible shots they hit. It was a great presentation and they obviously left tiger for last. I’d love to see the neilson numbers on how many people changed the channel (like I did) when they came to his “era”...
Can anyone cite the interview wherein TW made this “comeback” comparison to Ben Hogan? This is the first I’ve read of this.
What feel good story was that? When he moved out of his girlfriend's house and back in with his second wife as she was battling cancer or when he left the cancer stricken wife again then divorced her?
