VANITY: I HATE FREE Roaming CATS
SandRat
Posted on 04/10/2010 3:50:39 PM PDT by SandRat
I've used commercial cat repellent, cayenne pepper, and now just put out an electronic device that's supposed to detect motion and emit an ultrasonic sound to repel them.
I'm furious, I spend 2 wasted hours every Saturday to just clean up the cat scat in my front yard.
Any suggestions out in Freeperland for chasing away the cats without hurting them that I haven't already thought of.

You forgot the <sarc tag or “smiley face” to show you were joking! I don’t understand how anybody could purposely drown or hurt a defenseless kitten! SOCIOPATH!!! :o)

I’ doing everything I can to just scare them off safely. The non-leathal traps will be the last resort because to take them to the animal shelter will mean their walking “Thoe Long Green Mile.”

What if they have already ingratitated themselves with the animal shelter? Seen that happen, too.

Been there...we had a pair of beautiful cardinals nesting in one of our trees. A hawk flew off with the female and we could hear her mate screaming his heart out for her. It was so sad, but it is nature for now. I think her “kids” are still hanging around here and we still see the older male - alone - sob!

He thought he would make a fortune with KFC. Not to change the subject, but, does KFC still offer the Hillary Clinton Special? Two small breasts, two large thighs and two left wings??? ;o)

Yep. Based on their deposits, I’d say you have about 25 left to go.

The Phoenix and Tiger dish may sometimes be overrated but it’s not bad.

Sorry...have to disagree with you about the "natural roamers" part. My kittehs have never known living on the outside, except Stella, who we let walk around on the deck of our boat - closely watched! She still managed to fall in the drink four times, though. Now she and her bud, Beaux, are happy, well-mannered housecats.

You might check with an atny to see if there’s some legal remedy . . . a chronic recurring problem like that . . .

A fine for a health hazard or public nusiance might tweak his ears up a bit.
