New poll: President Obama's approval ratings drastically drop
The Examiner ^ | April 9, 2010 | Kimberly Willingham

He has been called the Anti-Christ by fanatics and “the most radical president ever” by major conservative leaders. President Barack Obama was the poster boy for a new era of politics and made a great case to “change” Washington. However, today a new Rasmussen Reports reveals that the love spell the nation has been under for 14-months may be coming to a screeching halt.

According to the poll, 29% of American voters strongly approve of the way the president is acting as Commander-in-Chief; whereas, 43% strongly disapprove of Obama’s presidential actions. His approval rating has declined since the passage of the health care overhaul bill. Now, 53% of voters trust the Republicans more than Democrats when it comes to the issue of health care.

Yesterday, at the Southern Republican Leadership Conference, Former Speaker of the House and potential GOP 2012 presidential hopeful, Newt Gingrich called Obama’s White House a “socialist machine.” He told the crowd that the president’s policies have the United States on the road to socialism.

Many other conservative leaders at the conference made blatant derogatory remarks about President Obama as well. Liz Cheney said Obama is putting the US on a “path to decline.” Cheney’s remarks were in regards to the president’s treatment of Israeli Prime Minster Benjamin Netanyahu. She told the audience, “President Obama is playing a reckless game if he continues down the path of diminishing the United States' ties to Israel.”

Rush Limbaugh told his listeners yesterday that Obama is “in the White House living his life of royalty, flying around on Air Force One, inflicting untold damage on this great country.”

What do you think? Has your approval rating of the President decreased?

29% is the lowest I have seen for his strongly approval ratings. The trend is in the correct direction.

IIRC about 12% of the population is uber liberal add in the 99% of black people who voted for him and college students still in school that should get you to 29%.

“Who are these 29% that strongly approve of him? “

Most all of the blacks, illegal immigrants, and hard core Marxist.

He has been lower (-21 on the index).
If this were 20 years ago, is approval would be closer to ZERO, but immigrants, exploding black population, and Marxist indoctrinated PUBIC school kids are growing rapidly, foretelling the end of America.

Who are these 29% that strongly approve of him?

People who are receiving, or hoping to receive, free stuff at the expense of others. Unfortunately, the remaining 71% includes a lot of people that expect free stuff, but are upset because they haven't gotten it yet.

Yup - taking into the account that almost the entire black population strongly approves, that means the percentage of non-black voters who strongly approve of Obama is very, very small. Interestingly, most black voters are also democrats - and given that democrat approval of Obama is about 80%... Someone who’s better at statistics than I can try to come up with what percentage of non-black or hispanic democrats approve of Obama. I’d bet it’s quite low.

Has your approval rating of the President decreased?

Only if negative numbers, below zero, count.

These are the folks that pick party over Country and can never admit they are very naive or just plain stupid. They have never admitted to a mistake and they never will.

The longer they are out of work or underemployed the more they’ll want the handout that they may not need just yet.

It’s conceivable the plan is to starve us into loving Big Brother.

The November elections can’t come soon enough. We have to neutralize the threat before we are neutralized. If not, it could get ugly. It didn’t have to come to this, but here we are.

I’m still deciding how I feel about Obama. I can’t make up my mind whether he is a moron with no understanding of the real world who miraculously chooses the worst possible option for our country every time he makes a decision, or an evil thug who is intentionally destroying our country. I know there’s a significant share of each going on, but I can’t figure out the actual mix between the two causes of his horrible choices.

Mom's Memory

Normally, I don't post a lot of these, but even by my standards, it was a bit touching.

I want all of my friends on Free Republic to feel what I felt when I first saw this beautiful tribute. My hope is that it touches your heart just like it did mine.

A little boy said to his mother:
"Mommy, how come I'm black and you're white?"
His mother replied, "Don't even go there, Barack!
From what I can remember about that party,
you're lucky you don’t bark!”

He’s NEVER been popular with me. I saw this fraud for what he was the moment he oozed onto the national stage. I hate Hillary, but she would be infinitely preferrable to the anti-American POS that infests the White House currently.

I don't think that Hillary loves America, but she doesn't obviously hate it either, which makes her a HUGE step up from the communist in our White House. She's also far more left wing than Bill, who didn't care what passed under him as long as the babes showed up, but that is also far better than Obama. If she mounts a serious challenge to the socialist, I may even cheer for her.
