I would doubt it very much.
In this state, your better off not giving a reason for a firing.

The article points out how this action is no different than Hollywood blacklisting actors who have conservative leanings. Of course, that sort of thing never makes news.

This is entirely appropriate in my opinion. He saw rising costs, rising regulation, and rising taxes. He had to cut an employee, so he chose to cut the employee who was partly responsible for the situation.

I hope not.
Its a free country. As long as the guy was doing his job (well), he's free to vote for any marxist scum that crawls out of the gutter. Distasteful and disgusting yes ... but as long as he was doing his job...

Sounds a lot like the story that was going around before the election. It was a cute little joke back then.

I hope so, but I really doubt dermdoc really did this. He may have laid a guy off, and he may have done it after listening to him spout off at the water cooler once too often about his messiah. I doubt he told him, or anybody else in the office, why he laid him off. Somebody will sue.
As an aside, it’s a good lesson about politics and work. I refuse to discuss it.

Hey. That's a great idea. Employees who vote against American business shouldn't be working in American businesses. It's like paying a Jihadist to be a janitor in a Jewish temple.
To: me1og
In the ‘final analysis’ - how does anyone know who you voted for? This is stupid. As stupid as voting for Obama. . .

I feel sorry for anyone who gets laid off, but frankly I think those who voted for Obama should bear a bigger burden for his job killing policies.
