Please give this 30-40-minute, free and excellent podcast a listen.
The production values are excellent, as Pete Ferron is a pro and uses top notch professional recording equipment.
Substantively, Pete's engaging style and thoughtful mini-seminars will stimulate your thinking and have you returning for more.
Full disclosure: Pete is my brother, and I am as proud of him as I am envious of his obvious talent, knowledge and skills. Please give his podcasts a try; you will NOT be disappointed.
Preaching to the choir.
Solution? Lets put away the calculators and get away from coveting what others have.
This is a startling coincidence: My son is in that photo (front row, man to center left with too much hair) on that web page in the blog for the March 28 posting, photo of the Texas A&M Century Singers, performing the sung version with MP3 file of the Old Irish Blessing - last weekend in the Dallas area. I knew he was there but we did not get to go see them perform.
Incidentally, I read the Old Irish Blessing at the end of my father-of-the-bride toast/speech at my daughter’s wedding feast on Feb 13 this year....
Watch for the miracles. Thanks PackerBoy!! Mrs FE got a kick out of it too!!
Pete’s son and daughter are undergrad Aggies, now. Great school and great traditions.
Maybe his kids are singing with my son!!...A&M is a fine school.
I went to UT and Rice, so being related to an Aggie now was a transformational experience for me.
Don’t get to bigheaded on Texas ;)
keeper
FlyingEagle, I can’t tell for sure, but from the picture it looks like your son just may have been one of the four fine young men who stayed in our home the night of the concert. I don’t want to give any names or clues on this page, but if you ask him, he would know. And he has a CD of the concert too.
