Millions of people join the Tea Party movement, including near a quarter of the total voters being Democrats or Undecideds, and it's "bigoted rabble, stupid uneducated morons trying to prevent real progress." If Democrat candidates and policies get bounced by a majority at the polls, it's "we failed to get our message across."
Liberals do what they think is right, no matter who it hurts or how negative the consequences, because it "feels good to help people" and they proclaim themselves wonderful kind humanitarians. Conservatives do what they can to provide a level playing field where everyone can rise or sink according to their own skills and abilities, with the maximum personal freedom for you to be who you want to be without the interference of a Big Brother government, and they are "heartless bigots who want our schoolkids to be stupid, our old people eating dogfood, and who act like backward looking dogmatic Puritans who want to control what you do in your private life."
