Remember when Brit Hume hosted Special Report up to 2008, before handing the reins to then heir-apparent Bret Baier? Remember how Hume was always careful to be the epitome of "fair and balanced," serving as a newscaster who wouldn't get into biases with regards to what story he was covering? Well, thankfully, now as Fox News' senior political analyst, Hume is no longer bound by those restrictions and so can let criticism fly with wild abandon. And let it fly he did on Fox News Sunday when he tore into the Obama Administration for being marked by "economic illiteracy!" Going further, Hume also mocked the total lack of private sector experience of Obama and the members of his administration! With the unemployment rate still stuck at nearly 10% and many new hires being temporary, government jobs, Hume was 100% correct.

When Brit left .. I was not open to the idea that anyone could fill his shoes .. period!
I was wrong and pleasantly surprised by Bret Baier.
The guy is excellent plus .. he has Moxy!
(Yeah, I said it .. Moxy! lol)
Should that have been .. MOXIE? 8)
yitbos
Bret Baier is excellent.
when I saw the new guy with that Baby Face my first thought was .. Hell No! LOL
The subject is Bret Hume and his comments.
Well hell man .. It’s five in the morning!
We are at least keeping the thread going. 8-)
Robert Reich didn’t do Obama’s team any favors, either:

Finally....BIPARTISANSHIP!
1720 for me..it appears there is an attempt to hijack the thread..to distract from criticism of Obama.
Anyone at Free Republic already knew Obama was an economic illiterate. This was not news in any real sense, to anyone with any sense. What is news is that people are saying it out loud on a national news program.
So Brit is Captain Obvious, what of it?
That was a joke, right?
Either way you spell it, we know just what you mean:)
And you’re right.... Bret’s got it....he put it on oblablah during their interview. Took it right to him!
And good for Brit on Sunday! About time they tell it just like it is.
What of it?
I like Brett more as he matures, and look forward to a long carrer at Fox for him, but he’s no Brit Hume. I’ve long considered Brit to be the true America’s
Newsman that Cronkite was so erroneously pegged as.
So is Brit now Captain Obvious? Anyone can state the obvious.
Why did Brit Hume leave? He was very good. Serious. Best anchor out there.
where’s the video
