10 Reasons We Can Thank A Liberal (but not really)

You know, we conservatives really get down on liberals all the time, I wanted to turn the table for just one blog post and list 10 things or reasons for which we should thank liberals. One thing that can't be denied is they have given us so much to be thankful for. However, today I'm going to do what Congress can't and exercise restraint by limiting it to 10.

I'll probably come up with future reasons because I can't imagine there are only 10. Feel free to chime in below with your comments...now, in no particular order...

That's just an excuse.

There is no reason to import foreigners (Illegals or HB40) like we are doing now.

All the given reasons are lies.

Americans used to do the jobs that the illegals have taken and for not much more than the illegals are currently doing it.

The goal of letting the hordes of Illegals in was to swamp the American Voting system and culture.

With regard to the HB40 Legal Residents, there is enough of a talent pool in all industries out of work in this country that there is not a need for this type of "Immigrant".

The goal of the HB40 increases was to artifically lower the wages of the professional class here in America.

There have always been enough qualified candidates for professional positions, they just wanted to get "Cheap Labor".

Cheap labor always looks good on the spreadsheet, nevermind the nightmares it can cause in reality. For many the spreadsheet dictates the only reality. I had a tech manager who would run endless spreadsheets for any and everything that went on to find any way to save even a penny. Most of those ways wound up being more costly because his pet theories would be annihilated by the buzzsaw of reality. If he could hire illegal aliens and get away with it, he would do it a in a heartbeat.

My last company hired dumb as post temps whenever possible, work them as much as possible, pay as little as possible and when they burned out and quit, another one just like the last would take his place. Full timers were only marginally better off. Most have jumped ship. I have heard of at least one fist fight has happened and a few real threats were made to some people since I left. So much for a sort of technology company. That branch was designed to fail and it is happening.

I am glad I am out of there, albiet a somewhat functional and getting by contractor.
