I am really starting to wonder if Charles Johnson's mom dropped him on his head one time too many.

And THIS is the sort of idiocy that made me not only quit going to LGF, but to delete the book mark from my favorites folder , lest it sully the other links.

I have seen a neo-Nazi logo in a prominent location. The national socialist usurper tried this one:

Wow. If Charles Johnson posted that he was “fairly sure” water was wet, I’d doubt it for a moment.

The three stars on the flag represent the three different land forms in Tennessee. Mountains in the east, highlands in the middle and lowlands in the west.

Years ago I was working at a car dealership when one of the more astute salesmen noticed that the Tennessee flag in front of our building was flying upside down. He told the owner and the owner asked me to help him lower the flag and put it in its correct position. I argued that an upside down flag—if you don't have a white flag handy—can be construed as “surrender.” I told him to anyone who noticed the error we could give a free oil change (a gimmick to keep the customer around long enough to get him to trade) and announce to them that: “We have surrendered to the lowest prices, the highest trade-in values, and quality automotive service and parts.” He didn't go along with it.

I’m fairly sure Charles Johnson is a fool and a liar.

******

Why I Parted Ways With The Right
Charles Johnson | Mon, Nov 30, 2009

1. Support for fascists, both in America (see: Pat Buchanan, Robert Stacy McCain, etc.) and in Europe (see: Vlaams Belang, BNP, SIOE, Pat Buchanan, etc.)

***I didn’t know Pat Buchanan lived in Europe./s***

2. Support for bigotry, hatred, and white supremacism (see: Pat Buchanan, Ann Coulter, Robert Stacy McCain, Lew Rockwell, etc.)

3. Support for throwing women back into the Dark Ages, and general religious fanaticism (see: Operation Rescue, anti-abortion groups, James Dobson, Pat Robertson, Tony Perkins, the entire religious right, etc.)

4. Support for anti-science bad craziness (see: creationism, climate change denialism, Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann, James Inhofe, etc.)

5. Support for homophobic bigotry (see: Sarah Palin, Dobson, the entire religious right, etc.)

6. Support for anti-government lunacy (see: tea parties, militias, Fox News, Glenn Beck, etc.)

7. Support for conspiracy theories and hate speech (see: Alex Jones, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Birthers, creationists, climate deniers, etc.)

8. A right-wing blogosphere that is almost universally dominated by raging hate speech (see: Hot Air, Free Republic, Ace of Spades, etc.)

9. Anti-Islamic bigotry that goes far beyond simply criticizing radical Islam, into support for fascism, violence, and genocide (see: Pamela Geller, Robert Spencer, etc.)

10. Hatred for President Obama that goes far beyond simply criticizing his policies, into racism, hate speech, and bizarre conspiracy theories (see: witch doctor pictures, tea parties, Birthers, Michelle Malkin, Fox News, World Net Daily, Newsmax, and every other right wing source)

And much, much more. The American right wing has gone off the rails, into the bushes, and off the cliff.

I won’t be going over the cliff with them.

******

Charles Johnson was never ‘with’ the right. He is a liar.

In early 2007, Johnson described the theory of global warming as "the international left’s newest article of blind faith" based on the documentary "The Great Global Warming Swindle"; he also "recommends Michael Crichton’s book State of Fear". By April 2009 he had rejected that documentary as "dishonest" and now supports that warming is anthropogenic

Not sure, or course, but I believe the Tennessee flag predates the Nazi flag by over a century.

OMG... we were on the balcony of the Rayburn House office building (that photo is below) looking down on this same crowd, with that same Tennessee state flag in the middle, on Saturday, March 20 in DC. The guy standing next to me (a fellow Tea Partier) loudly asked his friend "What's that flag with the three stars? I hope that's not a... KKK flag or something..."

I laughed and said, "NO, that's the Tennessee state flag!" Good grief.

The guy looked kind of sheepish and relieved at the same time... LOL.

And that Nazi symbol itself, the broken cross, actually has ancient roots. Been used for a few thousand years. In some cultures it means peace. Some people apparently prefer to spend their time grasping at straws, while realty sneaks up behind them.
