"...in 2010 Medicare cuts to inpatient psychological hospitals begin on July 1st. So, the government will pay less, for fewer people, for those who suffer from mental illness... You can hear the Democrats planning this; Hey! Cut the Crazies, no one will care!
...Medicare Advantage cuts kick in in 2011. It doesnt stop there, they also make Medicare cuts in home health care! ...There will be Medicare cuts in 2011 for seniors who use diagnostic imaging like MRIs, CT scans, etc... No new physician-owned hospitals will be able to get Medicare for anything! 2011 brings cuts in Medicare payments to... nursing homes and inpatient rehab facilities
On dialysis? Better die before 2012. Thats when Medicare cuts for dialysis treatments kick in. And, theres even deeper cuts in 2012 for the psych hospitals... Just for kicks, ObamaCare cuts HOSPICE FUNDING in 2012 but who cares, theyre dying anyway, right?
And what about all those annoying old people who are poor? Dont worry, the Democrats havent forgotten them! In 2013, Medicare cuts kick in for hospitals who treat low-income seniors.
...Obama is right. This is what change looks like."

Um... shouldn’t we be *wanting* them to cut Medicare? It’s single payer for the elderly.
The old folks will be out in droves.
JC Watts is fighting Obamacare after supporting the fascist for prez? He lost me over his endorse but I guess we need all the help we can get. Sheesh, so many otherwise smart people were so fooled by Odorko.
I look forward to taking this to the senior center in the City of Buffalo, NY. Everyone there told me how Obama was going to take care of them. When I voiced concerns over the healthcare cuts, they told me that I didn’t know what I was talking about.
Wait until the people living in this country figure out that, this time, Barry sold THEM a “clunker”. LOL!
Well, that and a lot of their Adult children who are caring for them or just worried about their parents.
And people who have serious disabilities that need dialysis or rehab....Yeesh.
This is good the cuts are coming in 2011...before the 2012 election!
They are going to make the Rostenkowski mosh pit on the hood of his Gov't Issued Family Sedan look like a cake walk.....
The right way to wean the people off of Medicare is to allow younger people to opt out.
The wrong way is to drastically slash it now, as they are doing, essentially giving those who have paid into the program all their lives and who now depend on it, the "Soylent Green" treatment.
Isn’t Kaiser Hospitals private? What about community hospitals? In fact most hospitals in the US are private.
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
Bump
Could you dig up the points in the bill where it mentions these things? I think that’d be a really good way to convince them. You can’t deny what’s written in plain English!
No... let ‘em get private insurance.
Socialism is wrong. Medicare is socialism.
I’ve already taken care of that. : )
GOOD! - they vote.....and the dead ones vote often
Exactly, those who paid in should get the benefit, but the progam should be optional same with SS. Or, just phase them out completely and lets get out of this nanny state of mind.
I'm an "old folk." You'rre welcome!
Have you been to an old folks home or hospice in your lifetime? Already money isn't showing in any appreciative way to treat our nation's elderly. God bless each and every one of them - If this is what is making Pelosi busting out with happiness today, she ought to be very very very ashamed. It IS, after all, their wish to see the elderly die ASAP, or they'd be taking care of them properly. No one wants to see diagnostic testing beyond what is absolutely necessary, but sometimes when there are serious medical problems, these tests are the ONLY way doctors can properly diagnose what is wrong. Already a significant portion of elderly have only minimal social security income and adding gigantic costs for Medicare to that is going to put some of these people out on the street, literally.
A lot of people paid for Medicare out of their paychecks and they will now not receive what they paid for.
I don't think that's a good thing.
