try restarting your browser

Especially if you're using Firefox. Sometimes, when it downloads a new version, things simply "stop working" if you've got a session up with the older version.

I can get on to others websites such as freerepublic, hotair etc, but not c4p or freedomslighthouse. I tried restarting my computer and it still gives me a timeout error for those two sites.

I had the same thing last night but for a ton of websites.

Called Qwest and they had me unplug my modem from the power strip (leaving everything else plugged in). Left it unplugged for 2 minutes. Plugged the power back it at the power switch.

Then went to the Tools menu, then Internet Options, and cleaned out my cache stuff (cookies, history, etc)

Worked like a champ and haven’t had a problem at all.

oh, I left out a step. Sorry. After cleaning out the cache, she had me re-boot the computer.

Hope it helps!
