So did the image of cross hairs on targeted congressional districts on a SarahPAC ad. The Alinsky trained leftists are in a hissy fit over Governor Palin’s use of gun metaphors. They find it “offensive.” They find it “threatening.” Too bad for them....

I can’t even listen to the conservative talk show hosts this last week because everyone is trying to be so politically correct and denounce all violence supposedly occurring as a reaction to the socialist healthcare take-over.
When is our side going to wake up and realize we are in a war. Violence occurs, people get hurt, and sometimes people die in a war. The left doesn’t have a problem with sending union thugs to beat up tea party protesters or tell acorn thugs to get in our faces, but the left wants to cry when the anger and violence is directed against them.
If angry patriots use violence to fight this socialist invasion, then so be it. I, for one, am no longer going to apologize for conservatives being willing to use force to fight for our freedoms and our country. At some point in the very near future, we are all going to have to take sides and we can either be passive and let the socialism continue or we can take action and fight back. I think the 2010 elections will be the pivotal point. If conservatives can’t win back congress or the elections are a fraud, it will definitely be time to use force to fight back.

could also refer to the m-1 garand which loaded an 8 round bullet clip from the top. this is NOT a magazine but this is why many people call magazines clips.
the bullets were held on a brass strip. the bolt was locked to the rear, the clip with the bullets was loaded into the rifle from the top. when the last bullet was fired the casing and the clip were ejected making a distinct “ping” sound.

Clyde Barrow and many Americans called magazines clips before the advent of the Garrand. I know military types are set in their ways about it but I think the terms are interchangeable in popular usage.
Here’s the deal. The Tea Party movement by its own admission want to avoid the appearances of extremism and thus take no position on social issues but rather stress fiscal conservative issues mainly such as balanced budgets, lower government spending, not incurring debt and lower taxes and overall fiscal responsibility etc.
And by highlighting Palin’s supposed extremism, they want to convince the TP movement to throw Palin under the bus because she is considered too extreme and not compatible with the goals of the TP leaders.
LAUGHING OUT LOUD at all the whiny, scared-to-death, cowardly Libs, once again keeping Governor Sarah Palin in the headlines! She lives in their heads, rent-free! They are all scared to DEATH of her, and it is SO OBVIOUS by the way they keep on insulting her, slinging mud at her, trying to denigrate her, reaching...grasping...CLAWING for anything to stick!
