True or not, I can't say; I copied it from one of the comments to the linked article. If it is true, the sooner the word gets out, the better! If it's not true, maybe we need to act like RATs and spread disinfo anyway.

Is it on your income tax form? According to Dave Workman it's false.

Unless of course the 2010 forms indicated are those for tax year 2010, to be filed in 2011. Those we haven't seen yet.

Here's the tax year 2009 1040 I searched it for "gun", "firearm" and "weapon. Nada.

There is a bill, HR 2022, to give a tax credit for buying a "RESIDENTIAL SAFE STORAGE DEVICE" for storage of firearms. Of course since you'd have to apply fr the credit, it's a nice way for Uncle Sugar to collect a list of gun owners. But the bill has gone nowhere.
