The U.S. did not win its independence from a tyrannical power 235 years ago by saying “I object.”
It will take more than words this time also.
Agreed. We are long past the Mr. Nice guy, sit down and compromise, work within the broken system phase.
I’m not gonna lay down and watch my freedom go down the toilet either.
i totally agree, but look at the headlines today, its all about the threats Stupak is getting. Poor Stupak this, poor stupak that.

And if the Dems are not voted out in November, I fear/expect many will feel the time to protest more “actively” will have arrived.
I agree. This is the tipping point, and we have to fight. Yes, the writer is correct, we must organize and fight through the system. We must also be prepared to take stronger action to defend our rights. If the system proves to be broken and unrepairable, it is time to replace the system.
Is it time for action outside of the system? Probably not. We have a chance to reshape with the coming election. At the same time, we now have a quickly growing ruling class built on politicians, bureaucrats, and large businesses. They intend to keep their power by buying 51% of the votes off with our money. The recipient class is nearly a majority and will continue to vote for more free stuff. This tipping point is near, and too many of our fellow citizens are ignorant of our situation and of history.
