The FBI yesterday raided the suburban Oak Brook home of Chicago Outfit killer Frank Calabrese Sr., sentenced to life in prison following his racketeering conviction involving multiple murders in the 2007 Family Secrets trial, and seized evidence which "could unlock unsolved mob mysteries" as reported by Chuck Goudie for WLS:
What Frank "The Breeze" Calabrese may have hidden in his basement, hoping no one would ever find, are the family secrets yet to be revealed. * * * When they got inside, authorities came straight to the basement, where they removed some family pictures to find a false wall next to a clean out pipe. Hidden there and elsewhere in the Calabrese home, FBI agents say they found envelopes of cash totaling more than $728,000. They also found seven loaded guns, one wrapped in a paper towel. According to authorities, the guns are believed to have been used in Outfit hits - or were going to be. A copy of the search warrant and a supporting affidavit reveal that federal agents also found more than a dozen microcassette tapes and 1,000 pieces of jewelry including loose diamonds.
The discovery of the recording devices and microcassette tapes suggests "that Calabrese Sr. secretly recorded his mob confederates, according to court documents" as reported by Steve Warmbir for the Chicago Sun-Times. In addition, the FBI found "various pieces of audio equipment to tap phone lines" as reported by UPI.
A few mobsters and politicians will not be sleeping well tonight.

They’ve got their work cut out for them, finding out who all those hidden guns were used on, and whose prints are on them. They had to be hidden like that for bribery purposes, don’t you think? Wrapped in a towel!
I’m sure Obama’s thugocracy will put the tapping equipment to use. The guns can go to the IRS for enforcement of the healthcare law.

Edwards has shotguns, rifles, handguns, Bill Clinton has always had firearms in his homes -
