Conservative to Challenge Mary RINO Mack

Running on a platform of Constitutional Conservatism, Clayton Thibodeau is poised to take on establishment RINO, Mary Bono Mack who defied the will of her constituents to vote in favor of Cap-n-Take. Mary acknowledged that an overwhelming majority of residents in her district were opposed to the horrific legislation but decided to do what she wanted to do anyway.

Mary “represents” the Coachella Valley, which includes Palm Springs—a once thriving resort town which has been run into the ground by liberals. The Left has been gunning for the Valley for years and Mary has given them a huge boost with her irresponsible vote.

“Clayton Thibodeau is singularly dedicated to the Constitution of the United States of America, to its principles and precepts, to its citizens and to their rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Incorporated within his dedication to our Constitution, is Clayton’s firm resolve in the sovereignty of our individual State Republics.”

“Clayton Thibodeau is running for California’s 45th Congressional Seat in the House of Representatives (District Map). He is running as a citizen patriot, as a Republican, and as a Conservative Constitutionalist. Clayton will be campaigning head-to-head against seven-term incumbent Representative, Mary Bono-Mack in the Republican Primary on June 8, 2010.”

It doesn’t matter if you live in California or not. No election is local anymore. Installing a true conservative in Mary’s district would serve as a bulwark against liberal plundering.

I would instinctively move to vote out any 3-name politician. As George Carlin said, “Hey lady, pick a !%)(#@) name would you?”

Since I live close to this Congressional District, I will do what I can to see Mary Rino ousted from her office.

We have a representative named Miss Mary Mack? Haha. My 5-year-old daughter will think that’s funny.

interesting...because I witnessed her make a speech on the House floor about the evils of the healthcare bill before voting.

This is my District and I communicate with the Congresswoman frequently. It’s time to get her lukewarm can out! P.S. She’s soft on illegal immigration too!

She is Sonny Bono’s widow, now married to Connie Mack from FL.

Never thought I’d say this, but Mary is one woman who really ought to listen to her husband.

She voted correctly on health crimes.

She is not to be excused for supporting crap & tax.

Sonny Bono’s widow represents a tough district, inasmuch as the desert is filling with retirees from the liberal northeast and gays from all over, not to mention the illegal immigrants who may or may not be voting. She’s just as influenced as most politicians by her constituents, though I would like her to be less gullible on environmental issues. If this tea party guy can win, great, but I’m betting on Miss Mary to win both the primary and the general elections.

You left out the truly militant gay community in Palm Springs.

I think Mary has weakened herself enough to be vulnerable to a demtard challenger. Right now, it looks to be rookie, Steve Pougnet, mayor of Palm Springs, who has proven himself to be utterly incompetent. Thus, he is the demtards ideal candidate.

Oh, sorry. I see you mentioned the gays. It’s not the gays, it’s the militants that are a problem.

She was most assuredly NOT influenced by her constitutents on cap & take. She admitted opposition was overwhelming.

But, she, like the dems chose to substitute her will for the voters.

The Valley demo is changing as the producers move out. And don’t forget, the Valley has 2 sanctuary cities.

I agree with you, while I certainly do not agree with Mary on all issues and wish she had more of a backbone and be more vocal, she has a solid base there.

Also, the demographics of the valley have changed that I do not see a vocal conservative winning. Her district has become more and more ‘blue’ the last 10 years (gays and gangs). It is still pretty ‘red’ but the Republicans are all ‘country clubbers’ who are social liberals and fiscal conservatives. The votes for Prop 8 came from the middle class, blue collar, Christian churches and the immigrant vote.

While I would LOVE to see a strong conservative in office there, I don’t see it happening the way the valley has changed recently.

Unfortunately, I think she is going to be trounced by a dem.

I don’t really see how. The strongest challenger the dems have put up for that seat is the loser Steve Clute.

Mary won as a ‘congress widow’ but she is very well liked in her district, which also feeds the RINO tag.

They are running the Mayor, they guy who brought new meaning to the term “in bed with the city council”?!?!?! OY.

And you are correct about the demo changes, that is a lot of why we left CA. The valley isn’t the same as when I was a kid.

Yup. PS mayor Steve Pougnet is the dem frontrunner right now.

The dem machine is going to fire up for this one.

Are following the financial hijinks in Indio? That teensy little town has a City Manger getting paid $300K a year & city officals who managed to run up an $805K credit card bill.

But not to worry, they have limited each card holder to a maximum of $5K a month now-that’s $5K per staffer.

Following the public uproar, the city is going to cut a bunch of positions for people who actually work rather than cut their own pay or perks.

Eventually, nobody will be in the Valley other than bangers & illegals. The productive among us are fleeing in droves.

Better still, the voters in Cathedral City are very likely to vote themselves a sales tax increase to 11.4%.

I don’t think a single Republican seat nationwide, incumbent or not, will be lost this November.

I knew about Indio, and I can’t say I’m surprised about CC, the Mayor and Council is such a joke. The whole valley is turning into DHS.

The problem with Desert Hot Springs is the parolees from LA county dumped there (100 miles distant) who have made it something like the highest concentration, by population, of sex offenders in the country. DHS has no control over LA policy, and can’t afford to help its problems by hiring cops. Cat City, Indio, and PS, on the other hand, seem to deserve whatever they bring upon themselves.
