I was following the health reform stories very closely on Free Republican as well as FNC, MSNBC and CNN and noticed some coincidences in timing that look suspicious. These Tea party slur accusations (link below) on Saturday were very close in time to the immigration reform march on Sunday. I was also following the deal that the Hispanic Caucus demanded from the White House to secure their votes on Health reform which they talked about on FNC amazingly. Heres a sequence of stories (below) and ping me if you see a possible connection as I do.
Members of the Congressional Black Caucus said that racial epithets were hurled at them Saturday by angry protesters who had gathered at the Capitol to protest health-care legislation, and one congressman said he was spit upon. The most high-profile openly gay congressman, Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.), was heckled with anti-gay chants.

WASHINGTON Frustrated with the lack of action to overhaul the countrys immigration system, tens of thousands of demonstrators rallied on the National Mall and marched through the streets of the capital Sunday, waving American flags and holding homemade signs in English and Spanish. Supporters traveled from around the country in hopes the rally would re-energize Congress to take up the volatile issue. Some lawmakers oppose any attempt to help an estimated 12 million illegal immigrants become U.S. citizens while others insist on stronger border controls first.

A group of Hispanic lawmakers on Thursday will tell President Barack Obama that they may not vote for healthcare reform unless changes are made to the bills immigration provisions.
Immigration provision has Hispanic Caucus threatening no health vote, 03/10/10
Ultimately, the lawmakers determined the fight for the immigration language was not worth killing the broader package. And at least one said his vote came after President Barack Obama this week assured him that he would push for a broad immigration overhaul.

I only heard it once when Obama was campaigning. My friend (a Republican and a Mormon) was saying she wouldn't vote for him because of his politics, but she said her mother wouldn't vote for him because he was black. So, I guess it's still out there.
You can probably imagine what it’s like to be called a racist for expecting illegals to follow immigration laws and not get special favors :)

Imagine? If I had a dollar for every time I’ve been called a racist just on FR in the last 12 years, I could retire in style!
The open border bunch would attack with ‘OLD AuntB’...but that pretty much stopped when McCain ran last time.....imagine that??
LOL!
Great story - also symbolic of how loving fathers are with their sons. Thanks for sharing.
Imagine amnesty now with the new Obama HR medicaid expansion. How can any RINO support that now?
There are a few things that just keep creeping into my mind about this the right is attacking the left media scenario.
It seems pre-emptive, and very well organized, more like a ‘campaign’, not a reaction to actual or perceived threats. Bill Clintons crew were masters at this; put the story out there, make it your own, before the real story is told. Its as if they expect trouble. And knowing their own kind, I think they do expect trouble from their own side and are busy blaming us so they can excuse them when it happens.
Then there is that never waste a crisis thing that Obamas people practice so well. Say one congressman actually got a slur. Why not capitalize on it?
The hispanic caucus got Obama this healthcare bill. He promised amnesty for it. They know trouble is coming and what trouble the illegal alien promoters are. They constantly brag that theyll get what they want if it takes violence, and theyve proven that leaning for years.
I keep thinking about what John McCain said about Frances immigration/violence problem.
* Recently this headline, Obama Warns Of Quiet Riot Among Blacks, (http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1845275/posts)got some conservatives upset. Is that really so much worse than McCain telling us there will be civil unrest among Illegal aliens if his comprehensive reform wasnt passed?
John McCain: no amnesty for illegal aliens could lead to France-style riots
...The man wasnt satisfied with McCains answer. He asked McCain why the U.S. couldnt execute large-scale deportations, as he had heard they did in France and other countries. The question seemed to pique McCain.
In case you hadnt noticed, the thousands of people who hhave been relegated to ghettos have risen up and burned cars in France, McCain said. Theyve got huge problems in France. They have tremendous problems. The police cant even go into certain areas in the suburbs of Paris. I dont want that in the suburbs of America.

Good God!!
I think McCain may change his position on Amnesty if he is still in a primary when Obama rolls it out. JD needs to call him out on it.
